Im sick of this “humans are inherently evil and it all should burn”, narrative.
Humanity is seeing a small animal in distress and giving it a blanket to keep warm. Humanity is thinking, maybe that person is speeding because it might be their last chance to see their sick mother. Humanity is love. Loving the smell of the earth after a rain, loving the feeling of your cat brushing against your leg after work, loving the hearty laughs between your friends. That doesn't make the rest of us unworthy.
Humanity is always worth saving. People are not the problem. Power without empathy is.
Let hope thrive. We need to believe people are good, evil only exists in the absence of good.
