ok but what if sagau but the creator!reader actually acts like how they expect the creator to act. Like imagine…
You open your eyes, and blink. The brightness of the world being something you hadn’t seen in a long, after who knows how long of your eyes being closed, glued shut, the opening of your eyes again hurt ever so slightly.
You looked around, you stood on a large platform, seemingly in the sky. A star shape with circles surrounding it, was engraved in the ground, and you stood in the center. You stood in a glowing purple goo puddle, it covered the bottom of your shoes, and slowly moved towards you with every passing second. You looked up, now seeing every body before you, all bowed at your feet.
You smiled, pleasantly at them. Your creations.
“You may now stand.” Though not loud, you were heard. Your archons all stood, now looking at your figure in awe. It was you, their grace, their creator. “What has happened while i was away? Teyvat does not look the same…”
Before anyone else, Zhongli spoke. “The land has changed, your grace. You’ve been asleep for eons. There’s been wars and-“ you cut him off.
“War? War over what? What have you to fight over? Have I not given you all of what you want and need?” You look away, looking at the land, the way everything looked, it was so beautiful…
“Your grace, people are power hungry, and greedy, awfully so in fact.” You hummed in acknowledgement, looking at them. By now the glowing goo was gone, and you walked to to the group, standing in front of Venti first. You wrapped your arms around him, your hands finding his back. Your fingers gazed his back as if looking for something. Not before long, when you reached the spot between his shoulder blades, you’d found what you were looking for. Venti smiled, and giggled blissfully, when you touched the anemo sigil.
A gust of wind blew at the contact.
Then you continued to repeat this process with each of the archons. On zhongli’s chest, on the back of Ei’s neck, nahida’s right wrist, behind furina left ear, the pyro archons left shoulder, and the Coro archons cheek just next to her eye.
You take a step back, to look at all of them. You smiled at them, at that moment the sun that was setting in the background shined a little brighter. The orange and pinks of the sky reflected off the clouds, and the wind flowed. Various of kinds of flowers floated on the wind gracefully.
The group started at you, hearts beating in their chest, as they watched you seemingly glow in the setting sun’s raise.
As you look at them, you see a flicker to someone they used to be, a version of themselves that you haven’t seen in a long time. For a second they were something, a group from long ago, your archons that you knew. The ones you made. When they go back to their present form, you see what they’ve become.
They’re different. New. Not what you expected, but the change was nice, and they changed in such different ways. The change was welcomed, and warm.

An|Just some random thing I came up with
The creator doesn’t get to rest.
Work. Help. Lead. Repeat.
There’s not much more to it.
Works wordlessly on papers, and reports from each nation, and it continuous prosperity. Works about resolving issues with the growing activity amongst the monsters of the land.
Help the creations, they can’t seem to do anything on their on when your around. They want you to make the crops grow, and stop the rain from falling, but don’t they need rain for the crops to grow?
Lead meetings about meaningless acts, and harmless threats. No one is in danger, they just have a small cut, nothing a few bandages and medicine can’t fix. You tell them that too, yet they insist that only you can stop the problem at its root.
Then you repeat it all again the next day. For days on end, you can’t seem to get a break. You tell yourself that you love these creations that you made, you try to convince yourself that you do. Yet every time you get close, they come back with another issue.
No peace, no breaks.
Meaningless work with a title on a throne, thats all it is.
At some point they'll learn, at some point they’ll understand.
They have to. Otherwise, how will these creations survive?
Now as you sit on your throne, several documents done, several people helped, and several meetings led, done and over with, all you can do is wait.
There’s no point in asking for rest at this point. Every time you get just a bit of relaxation, someone comes in complaining about something.
“The crops aren’t growing fast enough”
“Monster activity is on the rise”
“Its raining too much”
“Our crops need more water”
“The soil is now too moist, could you make it rain less”
it drives you crazy. They ask for the answer to one problem, then can’t figure out the answer to the next. You give them hints, suggestions, anything to at least keep their needs at bay. Yet somehow they always come back for more.
Things started to get worse the more they asked for things…
“Your Grace, please, we need your help. Liyue is having a shortage of Mora!” As you think about it, that doesn’t even make since. How does the Nation, that is home to Morax, the Archon who made Mora, having a shortage of Mora? Of all things. It could’ve been anything else, but Mora? How is that even possible?
“Your Grace, the air in Monstadt is becoming polluted! Can you please fix this?” The air, in Monstadt, the Nation of wind, and freedom, is polluted? What does that even mean, how is that possible? The air there is supposed to be the freshest, and most kind of all! How did the air start to pollute anyway?
“Your Grace, the water levels in Fontaine are lowering by the day, and less and less fish and carbs are appearing in the water!” The Nation, is quite literally surrounded by water! What did they do for the creatures that are native to that region to suddenly disappear! It just doesn’t make sense!
It seems like the more they ask, the more needy they become. You wish that you can just send them away, make them figure it out on their own.
But you can’t.
You’d be abandoning your duty as the creator, and your responsibilities of helping and protecting Teyvat. It’s the Creators job, to work endlessly for power hungry, greedy, creations.
What breaks do you get, when you’re the Creator. Even the most powerful dont get breaks. The claim to love you, yet want so much, and give nothing in return.

You were at home, it was late but it’s not like you had anything to do the next day. On the weekends, you’d stay up late, until 3 almost 4 in the morning. Eating snacks, listening to music and playing video games, i mean what else was there to do? Surprisingly you go all of your school work done during the week, and you were to tired to go out and do anything.
So staying up until 4 in the morning was the next best thing. With a Spotify playlist playing in the background, you went through different games that you enjoyed playing, some games you hadn’t played in a while and was kind of rusty at, those games you stopped playing quick, the game you stayed on the most was a game that you had just gotten into.
GΞЛSHłЛ łMPΛϾТ
A fun, interactive game. It had a cool storyline, a fun fan base, and cool looking characters so of course you played it. As the screen shined in your face, you intently watched the screen. For a second you looked outside hearing the rain hit your window. It was just now that realized that it was raining. For a moment, you could finally feel the weight of your eyelids, they felt heavy.
”I need to go my ass to sleep.” You mumbled, just now hearing your voice. Though you’d been snacking a bunch junk food, your voice was very hoarse. You look around and groan, knowing damn well that you didn’t feel like getting up and making your way to your bed. You looked at the screen that still shined brightly against your face.
You couldn’t control the smile that crept onto your face at the sight of your favorite character. You popped another snack into your mouth, now fully facing the screen again.
“Eh.” You mumbled
It didn’t take long for you to fall asleep, your body shut down without your knowing, and you were out like a light. Only a few seconds passed after you were asleep, when the screen changed, something like a hand reached out toward you. In the background, thunder and lightning struck hard with a commotion. You jumped at the sound, and as soon as you looked up, you saw the hand that emerged from the screen. Out of pure shock, you screamed, or tired too. The hand grabbed you, yanking you closer, and before you knew it, the world faded. You fell into a restless slumber.
✦•·················• •·················•✦
When your eyes opened again, you felt like something was pulling you, dragging you deep into some unknown depths that you didn’t know if you’ll be able to come back from. As you fell some clear liquid fell with you, rain. It was then, that you realized, you’re falling from the sky, while it’s raining.
You twisted and turned your body, to look around, to find anything that would soften your fall, anything at all. The rain however, prevented you from being able to see anything besides your own body, the weight of your own body felt heavier than usual. ‘Am i going to survive this?’ Your mind raced at the thought of death. ‘What am i gonna do? What the fuck am I gonna do?!’
It didn’t take long for you to get close to the ground, and when you did. You hit it, hard. Beneath you, a crater from end, dust and debris flew in all directions. The impact left you, perfectly fine?
Well besides the soaked clothes, and shaking from fear, you were fine. “Where in the fuck am i?” You said out loud, not expecting to get a response after.
“Your grace!” You turned around, afraid to see who was yelling, it was a male in a cheerful and loud green, maybe teal. A large smile on his face. For a mere second, you saw something blue fly around him, then fly away. Moving into all different directions, than he was by your side….
”Happy birthday, Your grace!” He was down at your feet, head down. You froze for a second, you didn’t know what to do, what to say. What were you supposed to say? You just got dragged into a screen, fell from hundreds of feet in the air(and somehow survived), now your in a place your unfamiliar with, with a strange man kneeling at your feet, while call you ‘your grace’ and saying that its your birthday.
All you wanted was to get back home, to the safety of those four walls, that you’d grown so comfortable in, with the warm comfort of your bed, and soft sheets. For a few seconds you didn’t say anything, and in those few seconds, six others were right beside the teal one. They were all of different colors;
Gold and enriching brown, sharp and powerful purple, wise and beautiful light green, smooth and dramatic sea blue, hot and spicy red, and lastly, cool and cold dark blue…

An| Inspired by "One last time" from Hamiliton
As you stood looking at your rightfully beautiful lands, the sun set off in the distance. A peaceful smile made a home on your face. The soft breeze touched your face, and the sun kept you warm. Everything around you was perfect, and rightfully so at that. As you stood watching the sun set, in your silk garments, and flowing clothing, you looked majestic.
When you heard a knock on the door leading into the room in which you resided in, you didn’t need to ask to know who it was.
“Come in.” Your words flowed off your lips and was carried by the wind. As softly as you spoke, your words stood tall and elegantly firm. With a soft click the door opened, revealing a young looking male with teal and green hair, and a purple diamond on his forehead; a gift from you.
“Yes, your grace? I was informed that you wanted to speak with me?” you could hear the shake in his voice, mixed with confusion. You had yet to look at him, but you were sure that if you did, you’d see him standing stiff and still, almost like a statue.
Softly, you huffed out a breath of air, and spotted an anemo crystalfly fluttering around. You raised your hand, putting out a finger for it to land on. When it did, you finally glanced back at him. Looking over your shoulder, you noticed how far away he was from you, as if terrified to get any closer.
Your warm smile had yet to leave your face, and you waved him to walk closer to you.
“Please, have a drink, relax.” You motioned over to the cart not far from you with various kinds of drinks, as per your request. You also took note how he refused to look at your face. He seemed to look everywhere else however. You returned your gaze back to the orange sky, and pink clouds. “I need a favor.” A soft tune sounded in your voice, which made you sound angelic.
“Yes, whatever you say, your grace.” His voice sounded determined, and confident. With your free hand, you grabbed with hand, and lifted, bringing the crystalfly closer to him. His breath hitched when you touched him, and you gently placed the small animal his hand. The crystalfly, glowed when it touched him, then flew around him before flying away.
“I need you to draft an address.” Confusion showed on his features, and you understood why. Before he could ask any questions, you continued; “So the people will hear from me one last time.”
You looked away from him, enjoying the long sunset in the horizon. Alarmed he stepped closer to you, confusion, and concern clear in his voice.
“Your Grace, what do you mean?” Without looking at him, you grabbed his hand, and walked closer to the edge of your open balcony. Carefully, you climbed onto the railing, standing tall on it. “Your Grace!” Xiao yelled, frightened as he still stood on the ground. You looked back at him, smiling brightly.
“Join me, Xiao. Let’s take a walk together.” Just as you finished, a bridge made of vines and floral plants formed from the plants that grew on the side of the castle. Wordlessly, he took your hand, not knowing what to expect, but having full trust in you. As you spoke, he listened to you intently.
"One last time~ The people will hear from me, one last time~" there was a soft tune in your voice, almost as if you were singing. You drew out your words as you talked and sounded almost too relaxed for your own good.
With each step that you took, more and more flowers flourished. softly the wind blew past the two of you. While you stayed relaxed, and calm, Xiao was having something like a crisis. So many thoughts ran through his mind, he wondered what was going on more than everything.
Why did you want to leave? And why did you choose to tell him, of all people?
"Your Grace, why?" Seemed to be the only thing that he could get past his teeth. His thoughts ran too fast for him to have been able to understand. Under him, he could feel his legs stop. The male looked down, to ashamed to look anywhere else. His world felt like it was crashing down all around him.
When you felt him stop walking, you stopped as well. Upon seeing the state that you'd put the teal haired male, you didn't know how to feel, but you knew what to do. Without letting go of his hand, you took your free hand and placed it on his cheek, lifting his head to look at you.
"Relax, take a walk with me, one last time." Your smile had yet to leave your face, or faulter, and as you looked at him you refused to let it do so. Gently, with your thumb, you whipped the tears that began to flood his eyes. Then after a second, you began your walk once again, never letting go of his hand.
So many confusing thoughts ran through his head, yet the comfort that you brought him eased his mind. Somehow, you always possessed that ability to radiate that comforting, and powerful aura. It was so welcoming and comforting that it was impossible to resist. Maybe that was a perk of being the creator.
"I wanna talk about what I have made. The hard won wisdom I have gained." Though, in the distance ahead, the sun was setting, it somehow was still bright enough to see. With your hand, you gestured to the groups of crystsalflies that flew around.
The small crystalflies, softly glowed in the incoming dark, illuminating the area around beautifully. Water in the lakes below flowed steadily, washing against the rocks and grass.
"As far as the people are concerned, you have to lead! You could continue to lead." he sounded desperate, imploring you to not leave, to just stay a bit longer. Now, unlike before, he never took his eyes off you. As if scared that if he did, you'd disappear before he could realize that you gone. His heart thumped rapidly in his chest, and somehow, breathing felt foreign to him.
"No. One last time, the people will hear from me. One last time, and if I get this right. We're gonna teach' em how to say goodbye. You and I~" He couldn't even think about his next words, before they seemingly flew out of his mouth;
"Why do you have to say goodbye?" His voice cracked, and his normally deep and reserved voice was breaking down by the second.
"If I say goodbye, Tayvet will lean to move on. It'll outlive me when im gone." By that time, you reached the end of the vine path. It stopped just at the end of a cliff. Xiao then looked around, confused. Just how far had they walked in that time, it felt like a short amount of time, yet they walked so far.
The massive castle in which was made for the Creator, was no longer visible, neither was any signs of civilization.
It all happened so fast, too fast.
There was a sudden glow that came from the creator, it lit the surround trees and grass. It was bright enough to be mistaken as the sun. Xiao looked away, knowing that if he continued to look, he'd become blinded by the light. Then he heard a voice. The familiar voice of his beloved creator.
"Deliver my message to Tayvat for me Xiao, I trust that you will see my final wish through." In a sudden realization that he could no longer feel the Creator's hand within his own, he opened his eyes.
A bright orb of light floated where his Creator once was. Particles of golden dust floated in the air, as the orb lifted into the sky. Ascending into the stars. The dust littered the ground, and his body. He watched as the orb moved further away, and tears ran down his cheeks like the rain. The space around him was now completely dark.
Aside from the rainbow Cryatalfly the fluttered around him. Landing on his shoulder.
There he stood in the spot all night, a flow of never stopping tears rolled down his face, and the only sense of comfort he received was from the crystalfly, that reminded him of you.
~~~~~~~~
The next day, was easy from no one. Especially, Xiao. As he was one the whom had to bear witness to the the faces that he gave the information to. That was how he got to where he stands now. In his hands was a paper, new and crisp. He stood before a crowed of people, who were from different nations, and of different cultures.
There had to be atleast thousands of people from each nation there, all gathered in a large courtyard before the palace of the creator. Looking down at the paper, he reads off the words inscribed in the paper;
Hollow footsteps along a cold cavern floor was the only thing you could hear, loud with a suppressing echo. You remembered the pattern to this walk from before, the stillness that it brought to the area around you. Everything except you seemed to stop when the sound arose from the abyss.
You stayed calm, heavy chains weighed you down, however that was also something that you’d remembered from before. So much so that you could even say that you’d grown almost comfortable with the feeling.
As the person walked, you didn’t even have to see them to know who it was, but when you did a ball of loathing made its presence known within your stomach. A person who looked just like you waltzed closer to you, as if they owned everything around. As if they owned you. The only difference had to be the fact that they wore a vail which covered their face.
“What? Not enough pride to show my face to the very being that you locked away?” Your tone calm, but still cut as if you’d just killed. Everything about this person resembled you. From the way they stand, all the way to their body shape. It was like looking in some kind of mirror, but this reflection would never be you.
“I have no need to show you my face. You’re just an imposter, no one would believe that their oh so holy creator could be copied. You told them yourself. How’d the story go? ‘Something that wouldn't be entirely like them. They would make humans that would be similar to them, but none would look like them?” They stared you mockingly, to the point you could hear their smirk, and you wanted to cut it right off your their face. Their arms was crossed as they circled you, looking down at you as if you were their prey.
Your fingers twitched as you glared at the vail, the need to just tear it to shreds was whispering in your ear. Tempting you to attack. However, you didn’t.
“Teyvat’s growing more upset by the day you know…” They continued on, for some reason they ditched the mocking tone, and instead opted for a smooth and persuasive one. They stopped when they were in front of you again. For the first time, in a long time, you did’t understand what they were on about. The feeling of not knowing made a empty feeling in your chest.
“I know this.” Being of divinity, you had a connection with the land, you knew things, and so did the lands you made. “What about it?” For a second, they didn’t say anything, no noise was made, the world was still at a halt, scared to move in the other person’s presence.
“I think you should learn to control your land, before the creations have to suffer for it…” you didn’t move, confused, you didn’t understand what the person was talking about. As far as you knew, everything about Teyvat was the same, well when it come to the agricultural at least. You assumed that the people have clearly grown and developed since you’d been out of your cave like prison.
You keep a strong poker face as you though for a second, then respond.
“I thought you were the creator, and that I’m the imposter, why dont you fix it? Creator.” Your words dripped venom, and burn as if left your throat. They didn’t say anything, instead they walked away, however before they left your line of sight, they stopped.
“Control Teyvat, before I do something that will really hurt that things you love.” You gave no response as you heard their footsteps fade off into the distance. Once you knew they they were gone, the world seemed to replay once again. You sighed, looking down at your tired wrist. The chains that held them tight was really starting to worry you. As you stared at the material memories of what the world used to look like filled your mind.
You remember the warmth that radiates From the sun, the feeling of the wind blowing past you. The thought feels empty now, unlike when it used to bring you comfort. Thinking back into the past used to be your source of will, and strength. Now the only reason, it seems, that you’re still fighting is so that the place that you created isn’t destroyed. You wonder what Teyvat looks like now, how much it’s changed.
If it changed at all.
Then your mind wondered to what that person said. It came back to you clear, especially since it was still fresh in your mind.
“I think you should learn to control your land, before the creations have to suffer for it…”
The line repeated in your head as if it was a video on loop. What had they meant, and what were they planing? Thoughts ran around in your mind and the more you thought, the larger the aching in your head grows. From being locked away for so long, your knowledge of Teyvat’s well being seemingly deteriorated over time. As you had expected when you first arrived in this cell, however, what you didn’t expect was for it to get this bad.
You, as the creator, was supposed to know the land better than anyone, and yet, somehow your connection faltered. In truth you had no idea of the things that was going on outside of your cave, but why let the enemy know?
As long you could continue to get your reflection to believe that you understood what was happening outside of these stone walls, the better. In a situation like this, you needed an upper hand, or a way to make them believe that you had the upper hand. From the land, your mind went to that blond Traveler, and his flying companion.
To you, he looked like another person that you met long ago, but he was the male version. They have that same light yellow colored hair, and golden brown eye and the same skin color. Though, his hair is longer, and their clothing style is vastly different. You knew that you’d never made these people before.
Never have you even made anyone who even looked remotely close. Not to mention that their choice of clothing was one that is foreign to Teyvat. When you looked at them, you could see a shift of the glow in their eyes, and of the color of the glowing patches that they wear on their outfits.
The shift is so subtle, so crisp and perfect that you felt compelled to draw him in. You’ve had Outlanders come to Teyvat before, this was nothing short of new, but these Travelers.
They were something special.
When you called out to the blond, you did not expect him to answer. You didn’t know that he would be able to respond, it surprised you in complete honesty. It was when you saw him for the first time, that you knew that he would be the one to hold the world in his hands.
And what ever he choose to do with it, will be completely up to him.
You just hope that he’ll learn that soon. Otherwise, he may never find a home.
An| I'm sorry it took so long to get this posted. I honestly started it then took a pause, then continued it. So did I forget what happened most of this chapter? Yes, yes I did. No regrets tho<3
A whisper...
Such a quiet and bearly audible sound.
What was this voice trying to tell him? He couldn't tell. He could only make out a few words from the voice.
..... ... me. You .... .. .... me. .... fall ... ..... tricks!
The only part he can clearly understand is when the voice tells him that the voice is a guide, a friend. For some reason the feeling of something warm was inside him, as if he was warmed from his heart to the rest of his body. What was this feeling? Who was in his ear? Why did he trust this voice so much?
"Traveler! Traveler!" Paimons voice faded back into the blond ear as they faded back into reality. "Traveler are you ok! You aren't answering Paimon!" Her eyes started to shimmer with tears, as they pricked her eyes. The Traveler heard something that told him to comfort his scared friend. He sighed softly, opening his arms for his friend to hug him. Tears flowed from her eyes as soon as she made contact with him. The size difference made it so the Traveler could easily wrap their arms around his child sized friend, who struggled to get her arms to his mind back.
"Paimon was so scared, you just stopped moving and talking, and then you just fell over! You weren't breathing, or responding! But you were so warm and Paimon was so confused!"
The Traveler looked around just now realizing that they were on the soft forest floor. Looking back at their friend they sighed "Paimon, I'm sorry. It won't happen again." Their voice was laced with worry and guilt , but their chest still radiated that warm and comforting feeling from before. Looking at their companion, they noticed just how tight she was holding onto them. This wasn't the first time she thought that she was going to lose her blond friend. The Traveler wondered what was different about this time.
Had she still not been used to almost losing her friend, even after all this time? Or was there something she wasn't telling them?
The Traveler stood up, still holding the small being, not that she would be letting go anytime soon. They began to walk in some direction. They felt their body move subconsciously, but they weren't to worried. They was confident that he could protect Paimon and themself from any danger that may or may not come their way.
As they walked they heard the same voice from earlier telling them to make a right, and they obliged, making a steady turn to the right. In that direction the trees and vines seemed to grow thicker and harder to walk around. Yet they continued forward, curious to see where this voice would lead them. After so long of listening to the gentle voice and following its instructions them found themselves at the base of a small mountain. Upon closer inspection, the traveler found the symbols for each element dimly glowing behind thick layer of vines. Out of curiosity the Traveler cautiously moved closer, careful to not wake the sleeping Paimon in their arms. Placing their hand on the element that they resided with at the moment they hummed at the warm feeling the element radiated.
Not even a second after the sound of rocks moving sounded in the Traveler ear, causing them to jump up, holding their friend closer, sword already out and ready to defend against whatever made the sound. Their shoulders relaxed at the sight of a opening in the base of the mountain where there used to be only stone. Something about what was within the cave caught the Traveler attention and was easily drawing them in. With each step the Traveler felt good wind brush against their bare skin, the cold feeling very different from the warm air they were just in. Light from crystal flys illuminated what was supposed to be a dark cave.
The light however wasn't bright enough for the Traveler to see the figure that looked behind them, watching them closely and noticing every single move the Traveler made. "Hello, Traveler." The figure spoke now standing in the middle of the open area.
To the Traveler the voice was fairly familiar, and they couldn't tell if they were hearing the voice within their head or if someone was actually talking to them. Feeling the need to turn around, they did. Only now did they see the other person. If the Traveler didn't know any better they would've tried to attack the unknown person, but the rationality in their mind told them not to. They didn't know what this other person was cable of, and they didn't know this person intentions. They could tell that this person wasn't apart of the fatui so for now the Traveler deemed this person safe.
"Who are you? And why did you lead me here?" The Traveler slowly asked, careful to watch their words.
"I have many titles, many however call me the Creator, or their grace. Sometimes even the divine one" the person spoke with a gentle and elegant tone, yet laced in their voice was something like discomfort.
"As for my name...it's lost. Lost within time. You may call me one of my titles for now though. Until it is found again. Now for the reason I guided you hear. I need some help." The person took a step closer, and glanced down, to which the Traveler followed their gaze. Past their clothes they could see chains around their ankles, chest, and neck. As of they were an animal. Handcuffs bound their hands together.
"Who did this to you?" The Traveler hesitantly asked.
"The star." The Traveler became confused, more than they already were, that is. "Think about it. I can't tell you, you have to think about what you know about me and the stories that you've heard." The Traveler thought for a moment but was quickly interrupted.
"You have to go now! Quickly! And quietly! Come back here at 6 am tomorrow morning. Understood?" They hushed the Traveler the same way they came, then before disappearing back into the cave, a rock wall forming where the enterence once was.
