Been working on a creature catcher / Pokemon clone concept tentatively titled Doodlebugs. You befriend creatures called Doods (short for “Doodle Dudes”), some of whom are very… unique in their looks, for better or for worse. They’re all my babies. I love them.

Made some smol tweaks. Dandelamb's pupils look a bit friendlier and teary-er, Sizzlet has mustache-twirly-lookin' eyespots, and Bjornap gets a lil eepy nose bubble.

Ever since Palworld's release, I've been mulling over the idea of making my own creature-catcher, with my own designs. There'd be a lot to figure out, and I'd have to balance it with working on Ashes to Ashlyn (the prototype of which has almost all basic mechanics functional!), but it's been breaching containment in my brain lately.

Going to do a mini series of my top 3 creatures from all the creature catchers I’ve played a lot, in order of best to worst game. First up, Yo Kai Watch! Highly recommend looking into it if you haven’t heard of it. Best creature catcher by far in my opinion. Here we have Kittylumbus, Slackoon, and Push Pup.
