As I’m rewriting my introduction, I am realizing something tragic: I still suck at writing introductions. Oh well. Anyways, I mostly post about my fics and Rosekiller, as well as whateverthefuck. I love yapping and making new moots/friends, so don’t hesitate to send asks and the like!
I absolutely love to read; it was my first love and is still my greatest hobby. If anyone would like a book recommendation, I'm more than happy to give one.
My second love was writing, and although I started writing fanfics in the past couple years I've been creating original stories since early elementary school.
I'm an experienced beta-reader! I excel at English and grammar; my DMs are always open to anyone in need of a proofreader/editor—free of charge, of course, because I'm not a professional in any way.
My special interest is Ancient Greece. I will not shut up about it ever.
I love astronomy, especially because—you guessed it!—the constellations are based on Greek myths. I don't believe in astrological stereotypes, but my sign is Cancer ♋🦀 and honestly, I can be an emotional bitch sometimes...

To You, From James — At eighteen James moved into the attic bedroom of the Potters’ house. Eighteen was the time of his life in which he was obsessed with Quidditch and comic strips, he listened to The Beatles on the radio, and he was hopelessly, utterly in love with the boy in his mirror.
At one point, he swears he walks right through it. He’d been shuffling around in his pajamas and slippers, eyes bleary after yet another sleepless night, when he felt it upon walking past the mirror. It was a frigid, awful feeling, like diving into a freezing lake after being in the sun all day. It is a cold that sits deep within him, and lingers in his bones long after the summer sun rises in the sky. This cold is different from the cold which the ghosts at Hogwarts inhibited. This cold is alive—it is an extension of the being that haunts his summer, it is ardent in its frigidity. It is so nearly alive.
Brier looks similar to Remus, with light brown hair, dark brown eyes and soft features. She’s younger by just two minutes, and when they’re older she’s shorter by a few inches (5’6”).
Backstory
She was not bitten like her brother, but she was in the room when it happened. She considers it a terrible stroke of luck that it was he and not her who suffered the bite. The encounter with Greyback greatly scarred her. It was the worst night of her life, the night that everything changed forever. But whereas Remus moves on from the trauma, Brier does not, and it deeply affects her for the rest of her life (she sleeps with a teddy bear forever, an old worn thing named Freddy she’s had since she was a baby). She constantly finds herself back at that night, listening to the sound of her twin being brutally assaulted and seeing his blood splatter the walls. Different parts of them died that night.
After it happened their parents began to invest all their time into finding a cure. Brier is accidentally neglected in the process, and at such a young age it stunts her ability to connect with others. This happens to Remus too, but to less a severe of a degree. Perhaps this difference is a stroke of bad luck as well.
Hogwarts
At Hogwarts she was Sorted into Ravenclaw due to her love of knowledge and value of intelligence. She’s not empathetic or caring, she has no one to be brave for, and although she can be cunning she finds it to be exhausting. So, Ravenclaw it was. Unbeknownst to anyone, she’s searching for a cure to Lycanthropy, a task which she fails. She loves her brother more than anyone—although “love” might be too intense a word. She doesn’t quite love, but Remus is one of the few people who makes her think and feel. And he’s one of the only people she truly cares for—Brier struggles to empathize, although she tries not to show it.
She’s not great at making friends. She’s quiet, able to sink into the background—which she doesn’t mind. Sometimes she wishes she had someone beside her brother to confide in/rely on, but for the most part she’s fine being alone.
Brier never marries, but has one child with a Muggle man. She’s overprotective of her son, Eren, who looks just like Remus did as a child. She’s terrified that he’ll be assaulted in the way her brother was, but by telling him constantly what she’s afraid of she traumatizes him in that way. She also takes in Teddy when Remus and Tonks die, and treats him like a second son. She tries hard to be a good mother, but due to her past and her general struggle with empathy her boys are often emotionally neglected. Eren is painful to look at because of his resemblance to Remus, and she just doesn’t connect much with Teddy.
“At eighteen James moved into the attic bedroom of the Potters’ house. Eighteen was the time of his life in which he was obsessed with Quidditch and comic strips, he listened to The Beatles on the radio, and he was hopelessly, utterly in love with the boy in his mirror.”
I imagine her to be Wasian (1/2 Chinese, maybe), with grayish-green eyes similar to the photo on the right and long dark hair. She has warm golden skin with light freckles across her nose; she also blushes easily, and is very pretty.
Alice Fortescue
She is where Neville gets his “sweet” features from. I imagine Alice to be petite with a round face, fair skin, brown curls, and blue eyes. She appears very approachable and nice, which contrasts with her being an exceptionally intimidating Auror.
Narcissa Black
Narcissa has the regal, haughty face that most of the Blacks possess. She’s very pretty—I imagine her to be slim with a fair complexion, narrow eyes, an upturned nose, full lips, and straight blonde hair that lightens as she ages.
I imagine Marlene to have dirty blonde hair (and eyebrows a shade darker), deep blue eyes, and a button nose. She’s pale, with soft features and Cupid’s-bow lips. I think she’d be pretty but imperfect in the way teenage girls are.
Gideon Prewett
I honestly have no idea what the common fanon appearance of Gideon is, so this is purely based on my own imagination. Gideon has dirty blond/light brown hair that’s darkened as he aged, and brown eyes a similar color to his hair. He has freckles and a bit of a permanent sunburn across his nose.
Amelia Bones
As with Gideon, this is based on my imagination. Amelia has long brown hair and blue eyes—she’s pretty, but quite average-looking. She’s slim and relatively tall for a girl.
I imagine Remus to have light brown hair and dark brown eyes. He has a resting “sad face”, and is boyishly handsome.
Dorcas Meadowes
I imagine Dorcas to be very beautiful in a regal way—sharp (but not edgy) features, great facial harmony, long dark curls, and a very even complexion.
Peter Pettigrew
Peter is conventionally unattractive (not ugly); I imagine he’d be chubby with acne scars and low facial harmony. Part of why it was especially shocking when they found out he was the traitor is because of how unassuming he looks—he has an innocent, boyish face.
I'm sorry, but this boy is tall! I've never fallen for the short Sirius propaganda. I think he'd have an androgynous face; he's not super feminine-looking in my mind, but he is a pretty boy. He has classically handsome features, grey eyes, and shoulder-length black hair (all canon).
Regulus Black
I imagine he’d look a lot like Sirius but with softer features—Regulus overall has a younger face and a slighter build. I don’t think he’s unattractive at all, but Sirius is again more “classically handsome” than he.
Mary Macdonald
Mary is a very beautiful with dark wavy hair, tan russet skin and big dark eyes like a deer. I imagine she’d have a very sweet face, a shy smile and nice teeth (not super white or completely straight teeth, just nice-looking ones).
The Rosier family is very much "the house has a heartbeat, the garden is sentient, the children are scared into silence, and the meat on the table is human" sort of vibes.
Not much to say about her—she’s pretty (she did hold James’s attention for 7 years!) with wavy red hair and green eyes. I like to think that her eyes crinkle when she smiles. I don’t think she looks much like her sister, but they have similar bone structures.
Petunia Evans
I think that Petunia was rather nice-looking in her youth, but did not age well due to her general unpleasantness and her living alongside a Horcrux for 16 years. I imagine her to have blonde hair, light blue eyes (which appear softer than her personality lets on) and a “strict” face.
James Potter
I think James would be handsome with a douchbag face, which I feel ATJ encapsulates perfectly (imagine here that ATJ has hazel eyes and black hair). Because of the popular headcanon that’s he partly Indian I could see him being such to some degree, although at the same time he’s very Evil White Man™ (just like Evan).
He’s one of the harder ones for me just because I have trouble imagining his face. I think Barty would be conventionally attractive (in my mind he has dark hair, freckles, and brown eyes) but not exceptionally so. He’s pretty, but he has a forgettable face.
Evan Rosier
Evan is exceptionally beautiful. I imagine him to have a very European face, with sort of sharp but angelic features. In my mind he also has fair skin, blond curls, and ice blue eyes.
Pandora Rosier
Pandora looks quite similar to Evan but with a “sweeter” face. I imagine her to have blonde curls and ocean blue eyes, angelic features like her twin but softer. Her eyes are also wider and she appears more innocent overall.
