Also, I always wanted to ask, which creepypasta characters do you think would make for the w o r s t and scariest yanderes? All of them have the potentional to be the worst but what do you think? (is this question too vague, lmao?)
So in my version of the creepypasta universe, everyone doesn’t behave the way they’re commonly portrayed in fanfics. I’ll rank the characters I know well from worst to ‘best’ yandere and provide a little description of how I view them in my AU. “Worst” and “scary” is different for everyone so I’m going to go off of what I think would fear the most as a darling: physical abuse and torture.
Ticci Toby - An unstable teen arsonist with lots of baggage. He’s a proxy that revels in hurting people, not to mention he’s brainwashed / very weak to Slenderman’s influence -- so uh… yeah. Poor darling is likely getting decapitated or fatally injured even if he loves them. Borderline yangire if not for how clingy an delusional I imagine he’d get, especially if darling reminds him of his beloved dead sister. A sadistic-delusional yandere.
Masky - In the Marble Hornets series (where he originated from with Hoody), Masky (aka Tim) is incredibly frail to Slender’s influence despite not being a proxy. Near the end of the series, it’s revealed that Slender has targeted Tim since he was a kid, leading the poor boy to heavily rely on meds and therapy to live his life. When under direct control of Slender (aka when he’s Masky), he is very violent and unstable. Darling will likely see this side of him the most because when he takes off that mask he forgets everything and goes about his day normally. If he kidnapped and confined darling somewhere, they won’t see him until the next time he becomes Masky… whenever that is. Not sure what type of yandere he’d be.
Jeff the Killer - Everyone writes this guy differently. My version of Jeff hides his guilt (toward killing his family and ruining his brother’s life) behind a mask of haughty confidence. He threw away his ‘human’ side long ago, but it’s still there. He’d hurt his darling, but only if they keep getting on his nerves; otherwise, he’ll eventually warm up to them since they’re the only contact he has outside of Smile Dog and occasionally EJ. A sadistic-possessive yandere.
Homicidal Liu - A rare creep who’s ‘in touch’ with reality. Although he wants to kill Jeff for what he did to their family, seeing his little brother act psychotic as a creepypasta helps Liu differentiate between what’s right and wrong. Sully, on the other hand, makes him much more brutal and psychotic… A protective-possessive yandere.
Hoody - In Marble Hornets, Hoody is a silent mastermind that controls Masky from behind the scenes. He’s manipulative, cunning, and can easily mess with his darling’s mind. He isn’t as affected by The Operator’s influence, but he is very brutal and unforgiving and would probably actively threaten darling with a loaded gun. He’s not shy like everyone portrays him. A manipulative yandere.
Eyeless Jack - He just wants to be human again. He keeps his darling around because they keep him calm and give him a glimpse of humanity he lost years ago. Jack is very unstable but he doesn’t abuse or hurt his darling - might take a kidney if it’s an emergency, but that’s it. A lucid-obsessive, but I’m not certain yet.
Incapable of being yandere:
Zalgo, Slenderman, monsters with little to no sentience (Seedeater, Rake, Smile Dog), etc. These creeps can be worse than even the ‘worst yandere’ simply because their motivations aren’t driven by love; they’re murderous psychopaths that thrive or live off killing, with the exception of Seedeater who’s ‘tamed’ by EJ in my AU.
