Loquatius wipes the sweat from his brow, casting a quick cantrip to quell the queasy feeling a bit on edge when the simple casting isn't enough and he has to cast a stronger spell. He quickly casts a glamour to hide the unusual paleness of his skin, even for him, thankful for the extra spells put out during the broadcast. The Herald of Avalir must of course be the epitome of perfection ,he takes a deep breath trying to settle himself as the countdown begins.
He barely makes it through the broadcast .
"This is Loquatius Seelie saying See-lie you later! ", quickly rushing off to the private quarters of his office where he promptly empties the contents of his stomach
There have only been two things to ever make Quay feel this sick, sure they were in the Feywild but he hadn't partook in that particular practice since his much younger days. A moment of realization as he remembered the last time he'd felt like this. His darling wife has been keeping a little secret from him. Quickly summoning a Mage from the Porters Guild he stepped through the portal, making a quick side trip before heading to the Meridian Labyrinth .

Laerryn leans over her work bench, hair piled on her head in a bun, using her All Purpose Tool to hold it in place. Interplanear travels had brought its own challenges new and exciting ,as she poured the blueprints in front of her barely acknowledging Dweomer announcing Quay's arrival
" My lady your husband us here"
She feels as Quay wraps his arms around her from behind a bouquet of flowers a mixture of shifting gold buds and purple lilies that moved from between a pale lilac into a deep rich violet ,a soft smile forming on her lips as he presses soft kisses along her neck in an attempt to distract her from her work.Laerryn makes her last note, taking the proffered flowers ,inhaling the sweet scent before placing them on her desk and turning to face her husband .
"Flowers? To what do I owe the occasion?" draping her arms around his shoulder taking in the paler than usual parlor on his face." Are you feeling well? You look pale, even for you."
"That does tend to happen when I'm unable to keep my breakfast down. Perhaps my darling wife is keeping a little secret from me?"
" Oh ,so the flowers are to pacify me ,after you accuse me of placing a curse on your stomach ?"
"No.But. Do you remember the last time I was barely able to make it through a broadcast without hurling?" Eyebrows raised quizzically at her as he watched the realization at the meaning of his words spread across her face.
Laerryn quickly ran the numbers in her head, thinking back to the revelry of those first few weeks in the Feywild and to four years prior when Quay had hardly been able to keep anything done. It was an easy enough spell to cast to confirm his theory, her eyes opening in wonder as she watched the soft glow across her fingers, confirming the truth.
A smile spread across her face as she met his eyes once more,"Well it seems I have been keeping a little secret indeed. " Quay picked his wife up, spinning her around in his arms, their peals of laughter echoing across the room.
“Home? “Quay asked when he finally put her down. “ Yes,” sending a quick missive to Dweomer to clear the rest of her morning, “ There’s a very excitable little boy who we have to tell he’s about to be a big brother.” Taking Quay by the hand as she opened the door leading to their home.
