His real name? Esau Kelly Kaminski.

Esau name meaning: Hairy; Rough.

I rewatched Austria 2020 today and:

1) I always forget how absurdly chaotic that race was, between the mechanical failures and tire failures and Lewis doing crimes to Alex (again)

But more importantly, 2) I don't think we talk enough about Jenson doing the podium interviews and talking to the winner first, then second, then going "where is Landoooooo?" This is Zuko's coronation as fire lord, in the image we have a foreign coalition in the imperial palace made up of soldiers from the Earth Kingdom and the water tribes, a Kyoshi cultist paramilitary group, some foreign leaders, the Avatar and a small group of the Fire Nation.

This, this is the representation of the staging of Zuko's rise to power and therefore to political power, now, do you see the problem with this image?

If you don't see it, it's okay, I'll explain what it is.

We simply have to know that it is the staging of political power and it is the way in which those who occupy power also represent/present themselves to the people who govern through resources, mostly theatrical, paintings, statues, etc.

This coronation for the Fire Nation represents the illegitimacy of the new leader since it implies that the new Fire Lord was appointed (which it was) by foreigners and that they have become a permanent force in their Nation in the face of an extremely unpopular leader by the act of Betraying the previous fire lord and the one who made his Nation lose the war.

And his future decisions should be a generalized uprising, that his bodyguards be paramilitaries of the Earth Kingdom, that ask for a ceasefire and withdrawal in a war that was already won and the nail in the coffin is the loss of the colonies that had been going on for 100 years with them and the confinement of the greatest military figure of your Nation (Azula).

This is just silly how Zuko can still hold on to power in canon and he just got a silly little uprising from Ozai's followers.

gosh, @magicalrocketships and i have talked about that windows xp error max face so many times. we've sent each other like chat fic scenarios like "and then max makes the nipple touch face." it is so fundamental!!!

also deeply, deeply important to me is max's face here during their LAST on the sofa when daniel serenades him with "and i miss you, and i loved you all along." LOOK AT WHAT HIS FACE DOES!!! LOOK AT HOW HIS HAND JUMPS!!! i can't.
