The salt-tolerance of the native annual plant Atriplex patula (spear saltbush, common orache, spear orach, spreading orach) means it can grow grow in coastal areas and the verges of salt-treated roads, where the soil has increased salinity. This species is a wildflower in the U.K. but can be invasive in some other parts of the world.

‘The common toad migration to their spawning grounds can be a spectacular event to watch. As the large females make their way to the water, the smaller males approach them to try and hitch a lift. It can result in some amusing behaviour, as multiple males will often try to mount the same female. This image was captured just as one of the males tried to push away another’

This fic is so !!!!! Patrick having a Secret Job like he’s a spy and David taking such care of all the people who work in his kitchen and they kiss early but then pull back to try to be friends so you know they're *in it* but you still get all the PINING, plus the Thanksgiving scene is SO GOOD and I love what the author has done with Albany (I've never seen anyone else tackle that side of things really) and there's Jake hitting on Patrick which is always The Best and not to mention there is beautiful food everywhere too and I just wish I could somehow give this fic a hug

this author has written so many great aus but i think this one is my favorite. its a while you were sleeping au, and they've combined the worlds of the show and the movie so so well and it manages to hit recognizable moments from both of them while making it something new too. i have come back to read it again and again.

These two New Year's Resolution fics are so cute! I loooooove that Patrick has inherited NYE superstitions from his relatives, and then his need to keep his resolution the next year. Both parts are so sweet!!
