This fic is so !!!!! Patrick having a Secret Job like he’s a spy and David taking such care of all the people who work in his kitchen and they kiss early but then pull back to try to be friends so you know they're *in it* but you still get all the PINING, plus the Thanksgiving scene is SO GOOD and I love what the author has done with Albany (I've never seen anyone else tackle that side of things really) and there's Jake hitting on Patrick which is always The Best and not to mention there is beautiful food everywhere too and I just wish I could somehow give this fic a hug

this author has written so many great aus but i think this one is my favorite. its a while you were sleeping au, and they've combined the worlds of the show and the movie so so well and it manages to hit recognizable moments from both of them while making it something new too. i have come back to read it again and again.

The sweetest, most fun college AU I've ever read, hands down. The banter and dialogue here is so spot on. I was literally laughing out loud so many times throughout this. And then there are other parts that are so soft and tender I wanted to cry. There are cute coffee shop dates and art classes and I won't spoil the rest but just overall the softest, most romantic time you will have!

On the other side of the power outlet, the guy was making a heartfelt attempt at giving David some privacy, pointedly ignoring his theatrics. Only now, David was almost desperate for some pithy small talk, or a chance to commiserate about this miserable fucking situation they found themselves in. Perhaps even a drop of sympathy, which he clearly wasn’t going to receive from any of the contacts in his phone.

David cleared his throat and shifted toward the man. “So,” he began. “What brings you to Toronto Pearson International Airport this fine evening?”

The guy looked up at David like he couldn’t believe he had actually deigned to speak to him. He stared at David for a beat longer before glancing over his shoulder, looking out the window he was leaning against.

He turned back to David. “Someone told me the weather was great this time of year.”

AU. David and Patrick get snowed in at the airport. Sometimes, it only takes three days to fall in love.
