This is a little side fic inspired by Crossover Appeal by @emphasisonthehomo but it's NOT officially in that verse - I'm just playing in the sandbox (thank you aron)

"Do you think Buck and Tommy are fucking?" Chimney asks Hen as they head to lunch.

Hen pauses mid-text, and then finishes her message to the kids. "I don't think about men fucking if I can help it."

"Not men men, just our Buck and Tommy." They grab their food from catering and find a place to sit. Good thing about being on tour with Bobby - he always ensures that catering is top tier.

Raising an eyebrow, Hen says, "Why are you suddenly curious about that? You know Buck doesn't stay celibate on his tours."

Chimney cracks his gum. He looks thoughtful. "I don't know. But Buck seems more settled in his skin, right? Like he isn't wound like a spring about to pop off. And I keep seeing him giving big cow eyes to Tommy." His own eyes narrow. "What if he's got a crush on Tommy? Is Tommy dating anyone? Would he even be interested? Is Buck aware of his own crush?"

Hen thinks back on the past few days. Yeah, Buck has been looking a little dazed around Tommy, and he did wear Tommy's hoodie for rehearsal that time. And he has been hanging out a lot with Tommy too, which is a hilarious contrast to how he was at the start of tour. Tommy for his part keeps watching Buck like he's some kinda adorable puppy.

And the way he nuzzled into Tommy when he got high in the bus, and Tommy not shifting the kid aside...

She digs out a ten. "I think they're not fucking yet, but will within the next week."

Chimney raises an eyebrow. Then he pulls out his own bet. "$10 says they're already bumping uglies."

ok anyone else reading crossover appeal and getting major dag/tommy vibes? (dommy?) hello? anyone else out there speculating hard about an oc and writing fanfic of a fanfic? anyway they have consumed me mind body and soul so i had to drabble about it

Tommy doesn’t think about the fact that he’s on his knees in front of Dag for the second time in less than 12 hours until he’s looking up to meet Dag’s hazel eyes. He had knelt to pick up the stick Dag dropped, and hadn’t thought to get up before holding it out to him.  Dag has to be recognizing the similarity to last night, too, if the spreading pink tint on his cheeks is anything to go by. Their fingertips touch as Dag reaches for the stick, and Tommy shivers. Dag clears his throat before muttering a quiet “thanks”.

As you know.. bassists are delicate creatures... As a bassist myself I am not immune to the power of the bassist/drummer mindmeld or the casual affection and stagegay turning into something very real. Are we playing? Is this serious? Can it be both? When we're both in the pocket and keeping each other in check does it feel like the rest of the band, the audience, the world doesn't exist?

Yeah. Plus they are my favs in the Phorid BTS Buck digs up in his very normal Tommy obsessed googling yaay
