How would Rainmaker Magnolia react to the events of who can grow me a new brother au?
(Hm, that's a thought. @triscribe and @oswaldthatendswald, for an AU crossover.)
When the Red Force surfaces from Fishman Island, the surface is foggy. Unexpected weather.
The perfect weather to ambush people in, Benn thinks. And sure enough, there's that flying of the Knights coming through the foggy sky. A whole pack of them.
Not as quick as when Shamrock ambushed him earlier, to draw his Captain out, but they wouldn't be. They want to make a show of this, Benn'd place berri on it.
Sure enough-
"You really did prove too weak in the end, did you, Shamrock?" Head asshole, Garling, rattles out. "Always too soft for your twin, who betrayed you and the Throne."
The man taps at the hilt of his sword. "Apologize for your transgression and your death will be quick."
Shamrock meets Garling's eyes. Not steadily. But he does.
"I would do it again, for my brother. In a heartbeat."
"Shame." Something how he says it, yeah, Benn doesn't think he's really disappointed at all.
Flash.
Observation Haki announces, there's someone in the fog now. Someone who wasn't there before.
A person who walks forward, out of the heavy fog, in dark robes and wide brimmed hat. A naginata not unlike Whitebeard's taps against the ground.
Benn narrows his eyes. "Who are you?"
The hat tilts to the side. "A ghost."
There's so muttering and hissing from Knights. Something about a 'Zaza,' a word choice that makes Shamrock narrows his eyes in turn and Benn notes the reaction to ask about later.
Right now, there's a third party who's just entered the picture. One that could be an enemy.
The fog swirls around them, and in their movement, ah, that's a woman. A woman who moves to stand between the twins and the Knights.
The woman sweeps her hat off her head. Revealing red hair, tangled and long, flowing down her back. For everyone to see that it's the same shade as Shanks' and Shamrock's.
"You will not touch my sons. Ever. Again."
Hell, another relative? Their mother? Benn glances over at Shamrock, see if this is something that came back to bite him in the future, but he looks as shocked as everyone else. Maybe even more, with how pale he is.
The maybe mother- She levels her naginata at the Knights. At certain silver haired man in particular.
"You- You're dead!" Garling snarls.
A cold smile.
"Well I did say I was a ghost, didn't I?"
I've come across something some of you might find interesting: there is a 16th c. Arthurian-Greek myth Hybrid AU story called The Avarchide by Luigi Alamanni. [LINK]
It appears to be an adaptation of the Claudas war story arc from Vulgate Lancelot, but the narrative is patterned after the Iliad, with the Arthurian characters acting out the roles of the Homeric heroes and taking some very curious liberties with Arthur canon. Some of which are:
Arthur is Agammenon
Lancelot is Achilles
Galehaut is alive and is Patroclus
Gawain is Menelaus
King Lac, Erec's dad, is in the role of Nestor.
Vivian is in Thetis role, appropriately enough
Maleagant is also alive and is freakin' Odysseus.
Meanwhile, the "Troy" faction here are played by the German Pagans of Avaricum (Bourges) led by Claudas, as the Priam equivalent
Strangely, Segurant, Palamedes, Dinadan and Brunor are on Claudas' side.
Even stranger, Segurant is the Hector equivalent but Claudin, Claudas' actual son, is partially Paris.
Very weird, to say the least.

I haven't posted about most of them besides EDP but I have like... A LOT of DRA crossover style aus. I kinda wanna do some posts talking about them, and maybe sharing some scraps for writing and art...?
I have several aus floating around and sketches, scraps, ideas, There's way too many for me to write a full on story or do a bunch of art for every single one like I've been doing with EDP. I think it'd be nice to share about them somehow even if I don't go as hard as I do with EDP haha. So! Here's a little list of some of the ones that have also been on my mind (this isn't all of them.. it's endless...) but that haven't appeared much (or at all) here or on AO3.
These ones involve the DRA characters within the universe, using the same systems/rules, or so on:
- Soul Eater
- How To Train Your Dragon
- Wings Of Fire (actually I've been meaning to do a fun series with this for ages but haven't gotten to it yet)
- Pokemon
- Steven Universe
- Attack on Titan (tbf this one has almost nothing so far lol)
- Ace Attorney (I dream of making a full fic and designs for this one...)
- Hellaverse (this one admittedly is only very vaguely hazbin/helluva based... It's from a long while back and I haven't thought about it for a while since I admittedly don't like these shows as much as I used to... but still!)
- Warriors
These ones involve putting the DRA characters into specific roles and/or merging swapping roles with the original cast of the work)
- Xenoblade 2 (I've actually posted a drawing or two for this one before)
- Heathers (this one is half baked... And don't ask me about kojuu and dead gay son /j )
- Promare (real ones remember that singular screenshot redraw I did lol)
If there's any in particular people are curious about or would like to see art/scraps for I may do a post for it in the future! It probably won't be soon as I have some other things I need and want to do first. Mainly some Halloween ideas, a celebratory post, and an ask I have yet to answer.
And I'm still writing looking glass ofc lol.
I realized recently that other people might be interested in seeing some of the random things I've come up with whether it's drawings, writing, or just ideas and rambles haha, even if I can't do a full story or multiple art pieces for them like EDP lol. Also this isn't even all of them... The ideas and rambles are endless I fear.
I just made this post on Twitter bc I kept seeing people shit on Motm on there when they legit just hate crossover AUs...
