Alan knows what he wants, he made the choice, so it’s not regret nor fear — he doesn’t know, exactly, what to call the feeling that has him shaking when the director touches his keystone (touches his life).

Actually me and CPigg talked about a Tiger and Bunny Pokeani AU where Sato is Kotetsu, Shinji as Barnaby, and Kenyan as Rock Bison
............. Shinji as Barnaby sounds hilarious while technically appropriate, but Kenyan as Rock Bison is just yes. flawless. perfect. though once again a tragically under-represented character :((
........ Is Dent Fire Emblem
Also, may I propose: Eliot/Darcy
I have Opinions about this.
Eliot and Darcy flirt. Like, they flirt a lot. They flirt like it's an Olympic sport and they're training to make the team.
It's jokes and batted eyelashes and blatant innuendos that even Tony rolls his eyes at, but, well, that's all it is. Or at least that's all between them that's remotely sexual. They talk. More than they flirt, they talk. Eliot starts giving her cooking lessons and they spend hours in the kitchen chopping and chatting. Sometimes it's relationship specific--Darcy is losing hope that Bruce will ever see her as a valid romantic option and Eliot has some experience in playing the long game in a relationship--and sometimes he tells her about his less traumatizing jobs and sometimes she tells him what it was like to have the whole college experience.
It's nice.
Eliot thinks Darcy is probably what it's like to have a 'normal' friend.
(And, okay, yes, if Eliot had met her before things with Natasha got serious, he totally would have attempted to hit that. Except for the whole 'Clint threatening to put an arrow through his dick if he made a move on her' thing. Clint apparently imprinted on her in New Mexico and is on a quest to keep her from being besmirched. Darcy thinks it's hilarious right up until he starts crashing her dates and making murder eyes at the guys until they get nervous and leave. She really gets pissed when Eliot starts showing up and doing the thing with the eyebrows. [And yes, she is still dating. Who knows how long Bruce is going to take to admit he wants her? If he ever will? She's not going to stop living her life just because of a cute guy with sweet eyes and sproingy hair.])

oh my god yes yes yessss (I’m still gonna write my oneshot cuz I NEED to now but omg YES All the YES)
Excellent! (It wasn't my intention to imply you shouldn't write yours. Hope it didn't come across that way. ALL THE FICS FOR THEM!)
Also part of the Natasha talking scene I'm writing:
"This could effect you too," Natasha confesses about the time the sun is starting to peek through Eliot's curtains. "You're mentioned in my file."
Eliot hums and continues the slow stroke of his fingers through her hair. "I figured I might be. Known associates?"
"Yes," she says, curling a little closer against his side. "But also."
She trails off. After a few beats, Eliot tugs lightly on one of her curls and prompts, "Also?"
"Known weaknesses," Natasha finally admits. Her face is pressed against Eliot's collarbone, and she ducks it so that he can't see even a portion of her expression.
Eliot takes a long, slow breath while he processes that, then takes the kind of risk that Natasha always seems able to drive him to.
"I love you too."
While at work today I kept circling back to a ficlet from Eliot's perspective that for some reason revolves around the sentence, "Nat doesn't talk about the Red Room." And now, goddamnit, I want to write it. *grumbles* This is so your fault.
Does it help if I tell you there's a scene I already have outlined after the events of CA:TWS where Natasha shows up at Eliot's apartment and tells him, "It's all public. Everything I've done, everything that was done to me, everything I've ever tried to atone for. It's just out there."
And later Eliot will offer to get Hardison to wipe as much as he can from the web, but at that moment the first thing that comes out of his mouth on autopilot is, "I won't read it."
Natasha looks young and lost, and Eliot coaxes her closer with a gentle touch to her cheek.
"But if you'd like, you could tell me about it."
And slowly, haltingly, she begins to.
I don't think that Tony would be able to resist mechanizing Elliott's hair, and I'm pretty sure that that's where Ultron comes from.
Interesting theory.
Personally, I think Tony gets punch drunk on lack of sleep/too many projects/too many missions without enough rest time and accidentally rewrites part of Dummy, Butterfingers, and You’s code so that they’re all fascinated with Eliot’s hair and try to touch it and play with it whenever he’s near them.
Tony doesn’t really remember doing that, but he thinks it’s hilarious and he refuses to undo it.
Likelihood of Parker attempting to steal Sam's wings.
10/10, she succeeded.
Thankfully Eliot noticed her heading toward the roof with them and intervened before she could actually get airborne.
(She does talk Sam into giving her lessons. He makes her apologize for stealing them, though, even after she points out that he stole them first.)
