Oh! A funny thing that happened to me this morning:

I have friendly local crows

This morning some were cawing as I walked along & then a bird (I assume a crow, they were the birds around) dropped a chunk of crusty white bread in front of me, on the pavement

Thanks crow!

It was a nice gesture!

New gift from crows

Was refilling my crow feeders today when I found a new crow gift

I have never seen this die before and it was placed very carefully on a rock pile I have next to their water bowl

New crow gift, a very rusty lawn/sod stake they put these in when installing turf or sod but based on the fact this looks like it was hit by a lawn mower makes me think it was most likely real grass.

Today was a very good day I came home from my walk to a new crow gift

I cleaned the feeding area today before I left and this was sitting up in the middle like the last picture
