Batfam Monster Poll 2: Dick

In an Eldritch/ Cryptid AU, which creature would Dick be?

Vampire (at least we know for certain he slays...)

Siren (the combo of wings and a magic voice!)

Glossary-

Hyter-

Hyter Sprites.  Lincolnshire and East Anglian fairies.  they are small and sandy-coloured with green eyes like the Feriers of Suffolk. The assume the bird form of sandmartins.  They are grateful for human kindnesses and stern critics of ill-behaviour [..]the hyter sprites have been known to bring home lost children.

Others have envisioned them as bat-like creatures.  But always as protective spirits who warn children from danger and were possessed of had bird-like qualities. (source)

In any case Dick having the alternate form of a little guy, bird or bat, is interesting to me.

Kitsune-

Shapeshifting, mischievous, but potentially protective fox spirit/yokai, will repay malice with malice and goodwill with loyalty, known for repaying it's debts. Real eye for an eye kind of thing. In human form they may still have a big fluffy fox tail (or tails).

An interesting thing that could be incorporated in an AU is the idea that Kitsune's are hunted for their skins, and that gives big court of owls vibes.

I'm just thinking about the first robin being a silly little fox lol.

Other thoughts-

Bird hybrids-

we need to give this guy wings, his name is nightWING, maybe he can't fly but he would kill with some flashy feathers. I am interested in how people think it would manifest, like having angel wings on his back or something more like a harpy, with the wings and arms being one in the same. Does he have more feathers on his body? does he have talon-like fingernails or even a feathered tail. in any case I think he would look very cool.

(Kinnara are also part of this, they're like bird centaurs, top half human, bottom half/ hips down is birdlike with lower wings and proportional legs ending in talons. They also have protective associations, coming to aid in times of disaster)

Just a little baby Cryptid Jason and Cryptid Dick sketch. Please ignore the horrible proportions on Dick, I’m blaming it on the pen.

I’m still working out how I want Jaybird ( not his hero name, just a nickname) to look.

I’m feeling generous today, so here’s more sketches of Jason.

Sadly it’s gonna be second before Jason makes his appearance, but that’s not gonna stop me from drawing him.

Here’s that Cryptid BirdFlash art I was talking about.

Don’t ask me whether I draw Dick’s hair as black or brown, because I’ve drawn it both ways since I keep forgetting. The answer is yes, he has hair.

They actually got together when they were teens, but for reason I drew them as adults here.
