Chase and my OC Crystal are posed for their prom pictures!  It would only make sense for Crystal to bring the man she’s loved since they were younger to the prom. (That’s 1,000 yrs at least! Crystal Outfits - Part 1 by Crystal-Zen I'm making a 2 parts of these. I'm deleting my old ones because I wanted more variety in the outfit designs and I wanted to do a set of them like I'd seen the other Xiaolin Showdown fans drawing up!  It looked fun! So let's start in order here from left to right...on top! Left to Right on Top 1. Xiaolin Robes - She's one of the training masters much like Guan or Master Fung, so I figured some slightly different robes would be in order. 2. Orion Form - Yellow colored used based on fact that her Xiaolin Dragon/Warrior power is actually light since she is a Phoenix. Yes, she is part dragon too from her fathers side..and she choses to hide in her dragon form more so in which she has the ice powers from. (I have a whole thing on this I can go off and tell you later.) 3.Wudai Armor - Again, changed them slightly to represent that she's one of the masters. Fun fact, the Yin Yang "spots" consist of a yellow sun and a white snowflake. To represent her ice and light powers. 4. Monkey Staff-  Her braid turns into the tail because fun fact, her braid literally represents her dragon tail in human form. Her long hair comes from her dragon forms "Fur" or her Phoenix "Tail Feathers". 5. Bathroom Robes Left to Right on Bottom 1. Comfy PJ's with Fireflies 2. Comfy PJ's 2 Alt with Snow 3. Sexy Bedtime outfit Something I figured she'd probably do for Chase every now and then. 4. Swimsuit with more fireflies! 5. So there’s a small story with this one. tw: death is involved. So skip to after the dotted ------ line below if you don’t want to read.  Started this picture in 2014-2016 sometime.  I know this particular version was fixed up digitally as of December 16th 2016. I never had the chance to finish it that year. I was doing all sorts of gift art for Christmas for others in the Xiaolin Showdown community that year so I was a bit busy/preoccupied. Well, I ended up getting more pre-occupied as my Dad went into the hospital and  by January 1st 2017 we found out he had terminal cancer. This was a HUUUGE hit for me as I lost my mom just 3 years prior in 2014. I couldn’t even finish some of the gift art until February.  That March my father would pass and I couldn’t even look at this picture for awhile. I was finally able to finish it this year since I’ve finally healed emotionally and could look at this a little more fondly again. So I’m proud to present this finished piece to you all! -------- Chase and Crystal are sharing a serene moment together. Crystal watched as the snow fell down outside of the cabin the Xiaolin group, Jack and Chase had found themselves stuck in for the night. Chase brings over some hot cocoa to share with the woman he’d grown so fond of and fell in love with through all of these years. It was a perfect time for the two grown ups to spend together while the Xiaolin students and Jack played several board games and set up a tree. Total Hallmark inspiration right here. :3

Here we go! My first Xiaolin Showdown artwork in awhile, well the first new one I’ve drawn anyways. I had this adorable picture in mind of Chase trying to braid Crystal’s hair. Maybe as a night time ritual? So I put her in some Meow Kitty PJs and him in some casual wear. Just thought it was cute! Chase is always so delicate with Crystal.

Looks like Crystal/Xifeng and a little kitty helped were out gathering pumpkins for the season. Knowing her they’ll probably carve them up for Halloween and have some pumpkin pie later!  ^-^ This is a P2U pose by NukaBabe on DeviantArt. I painted out the whole background because I wanted some extra practice. I’m so happy with how my trees are turning out now.

Crystal Outfits - Part 2 by Crystal-Zen PART 2 OF MY OUTFIT DESIGNS! That took longer than I had hoped. *wipes forhead* Okay! So, I left it off at this for the moment. There's a Part 3 coming in the future at some point for just casual outfits... but for now, I thought I'd get these posted. I have so much that I want to do so, I need to get these babies out of the way!  Onto the clothes line-up! Left to Right on Top 1. Evil Crystal - Not exactly her "Heylin" attire, but, more so just if she were a villain in general. As in, I guess let's say she were the main villain in an AU and not Chase. (Which I guess would make her Heylin then HAHA... but yeah.) Added in the dark purple phoenix to the design to compliment what she is and to show that she's not a light phoenix anymore. - Also FYI yes, I did in fact use Philimena from MLP as the vector for that! XD I thought it meshed well with the style. 2. Heylin Armor - My actual design for her "Heylin" outfit inspired by Chase's own as well as the popular style for Chinese warrior armor. I figured she'd go with a color to help compliment Chase's own while keeping it similar. Made sure to add in the little detail of her Yin Yang since that's really her theme. 3. Western Outfit - Did this one since everyone was doing this as well! I figured it'd be fun to see her in some cowgirl wear. Wanted to be bold and go with a color I hadn't used on her yet and went with orange! Wanted just a nice down home farm girl feel. 4. Winter Outfit-  Did two kind of versions here. The main one you get to see has a red turtle neck and a pair of ornament earrings and a holly hair pin. Mostly because I'm trying to show that this is also partially one of her Christmas outfits. Though, I did include one with her just wearing a blue turtle neck and removal of the other Christmas pieces as more of a "Just a winter outfit".  Didn't see the need to do an extra other than just the headshot. Left to Right on Bottom 1. Wedding Dress - So as you all know, Crystal is a Phoenix ( and part dragon). So I've had it in my mind that she'd use her own Phoenix feathers to create herself a dress. She'd probably been collecting them for awhile now for that! I went with the blue and white colors to represent her ice powers as well as the gold to show off her light powers as well. You can see that I gave her blue eyes and that's because in her phoenix form she has blue eyes - much like the bird of paradise.  (Also added a yin yang to her necklace!) 2. Formal Wear/Dress - This one should be pretty obvious. I went with the black and white for the representation of her yin yang theme. For any formal balls or parties they may or may not have to go to! I thought this would be really cute, heck, could even be a back up dress for her wedding so she could move around more easily. 3. Chinese Hanfu - I've seen everyone drawing their oc's in Kimono's but I really wanted to give representation to the Chinese culture of Hanfu. So I figured I'd go with some peacock colors to help with the tradition of Hanfu being typically colorful but not overwhelming to the eye or show. I think she'd look so cute next to Chase in this!  May need to do a picture later on. 4. Kimono - Had to do my own version after seeing everyone else do theirs! Haha, I know this is super detailed for the show but I couldn't RESIST designing up my own Kimono in full!  So here's what I figured she'd look like in a kimono. Will probably dull the design down some if I ever do a show based version.. These were super fun to make and I hope you guys like them! Crystal/Zen and Art are © to me.
