Random thing but something I was thinking about, comparing characters like Vanilla Sugar, Second Watcher and Cube Choco, I’m pretty sure Dark Choco would have been baked after the Dark Flour War
When we see past Vanilla Sugar, this was the day the Dark Flour War ended, and to me she doesn’t seem any older than her early 20s. When we meet her in present day though, she’s very much an old woman (I don’t know much about the difference in age between people older than 60, so I’m just gonna give a random answer and say she’s like 80? Maybe 90?)
Then compare that to the flashback picture we see of a baby Dark Choco, featuring young Second Watcher and Cube Choco, with their present day counterparts (also the Gatekeeper, but he looks the same both there and now, so disregard him)
They’re definitely on the older side nowadays, Cube Choco in particular, but given the fact they’re both still active members of the Watchers, I don’t imagine them to be any more than like, their late 50s or something
Again I reiterate that while I can’t really discern ages older than like 60, or what is considered “old”, but just comparing these three’s different ages by appearance alone, it seems pretty clear that there’s no way they’ve aged the same amount of time, and thus Dark Choco had to have been baked sometime after the Dark Flour War ended
(Okay, I don’t really know if this was necessary, but I usually headcanon Dark Choco to have been baked shortly before the war, so that he’d know the other Ancients like Pure Vanilla. But then I realized this and that it meant that logically, that doesn’t make sense, and I just wanted to share that realization. Also I think this argument holds some water since all three characters are normal Cookies who don’t seem like they’d have any reason to age weird, so it’s a relatively easy way to compare)
Hello! Can I request Clotted Cream Cookie or Affogato Cookie (whichever you prefer writing for) and a femboy reader who acts like Akane Toriyasu? Thank you ^^
You're Not Very Discreet
Pairing: First Meeting, Affogato Cookie x Reader
Cookies in Bond Buff: Affogato Cookie, (Y/N) Cookie, Caramel Arrow Cookie, Dark Cacao Cookie
Warnings: Minor sexual themes
Word Count: 1,137 words
Summary: You were known for being gentle, friendly, and being a bit of an airhead. However, there are rumors that your personality is a façade, a rumor that a certain advisor is DYING to explore...
Scenario: Flirting
A/N: Okay, I usually like writing for Clotted Cream, but Affogato needs more fics, because he only has two and it's a two-parter (I guess this is kind of a pseudo-prequel to that), so I have to fill his bar a bit. LEGGO-
"They're going to KILL me..."
You knew you were doomed when you saw the state of the ruined training field. Yet another assessment failed, because of your wild magic.
You were a Watcher cadet, training to be one of the many warriors that defended the borders of Dark Cacao. However, you had been born with magic powers, powers you didn't know how to control. And, time and time again, it would wreak havoc on your fellow cadets and make everything worse.
Caramel Arrow Cookie was your only friend, having already graduated but urging you to keep trying and covering for your mistakes. But today, when you tried to keep her safe from a swinging mace on the training field...well...you did a little more than destroy the mace.
Dark Cacao Cookie and some of the Watchers were recovering from the accident, in shock at the state of the ruined training grounds. The king's head whipped towards you and Caramel Arrow Cookie. "...Who did this??"
You sucked in a breath of courage, then walked forward. "It was my fault, Your Majesty."
"We were trying to finish the assessment, and..." you bowed your head. "I'm sorry-"
Cube Choco Cookie stepped in front of Dark Cacao Cookie, eyes narrow with anger. "You almost had us all CRUMBLED."
"It was an accident..."
"He was just trying to keep me safe-" Caramel Arrow Cookie tried to come to your defense.
"That is no excuse!" Cube Choco Cookie barked. "This has happened too many times! You can't keep defending him!"
"But he will learn-"
"He will NEVER learn! No one 'learns' how to be a Cacaoian Cookie!"
"Only because you never give him a chance!"
"Give him a chance?! Caramel Arrow Cookie, LOOK at what he's done! He's DANGEROUS! He will NEVER be a Watcher!"
That statement stung you to an unbearable degree. Looking away, you turned tail and ran off, ignoring Caramel Arrow Cookie calling after you. "(Y/N) Cookie!"
Dark Cacao Cookie watched you go, but did nothing. He simply turned away, gathering his warriors to his side. "...Let us return to the Citadel. We have walls to build."
And with that, the whole procession left, leaving none but Caramel Arrow Cookie behind, who still stared after your fleeing back.

You sat alone in a dark room, crying. It just wasn't fair...why couldn't you be born a normal Cookie? It was bad enough that you were teased for a number of things that didn't even relate to your magic: being the runt of your troop, looking like a girl, being an airhead...it was all just too much. Was this some sort of sign? A sign that you just didn't belong here?
"Hello, my dear~"
Your dough prickled at the sound of someone else in the room. Your head whirled around, searching for the source of the voice. "Who's there??"
"Just a friend. Do not be afraid. Such a façade doesn't suit you,"
"W-Who are you?"
"Just a solitary Cookie of the Dark Cacao royal court. I've been in these walls for years. Alone, with only the dark as my companion,"
"I-I'm sorry..." you lowered your head and began to stand. "I didn't know someone else lived here. I can go somewhere else."
Suddenly, there was a smell of sweet coffee in the air, and a dark purple bubble of magic blocked the door. "I'd like you to stay a little longer," the voice said silkily. "I haven't spoken to anyone for such a long time. It's awful when Cookies avoid you...when Cookies hate you just for being who you are. You feel lonely...helpless...and there's nothing you can do about it."
Every single one of those words pierced you like an arrow. "I...I know," you sighed. "I know what you mean. What's your name?"
At last, the Cookie speaking to you stepped out of the shadows, revealing swirling white and purple robes, a black scarf, and two snakelike eyes fixed on you. "They call me Affogato Cookie."
You seized up when you heard that name. "A-Affogato Cookie??"
"Hm...your wonder makes me suppose you've already heard this name."
He was right: Caramel Arrow Cookie had often spoke warningly of this sorcerer, of how he was well-versed in dark magic and how manipulative and cunning he was. "Well...yes. S-Sometimes..."
He strode closer to you, his piercing eyes never leaving you. "I don't have a good reputation in your eyes, do I, (Y/N) Cookie?"
"What?? N-No, I mean-! ...Wait. How do you know my name?"
"I know many things," he answered simply as he looked out the window to witness the Watchers cleaning up after your mess. "Poor Cube Choco Cookie...poor King Dark Cacao Cookie...they were only trying to help you. And you almost DESTROYED them. In their eyes, you've ruined EVERYTHING. Now the Watchers hate you. Nobody's on your side. Why...you're just as lonely as I am."
You felt tears sting your eyes. "It's true...I've ruined everything. I don't belong with the Watchers...maybe I don't belong in the Dark Cacao Kingdom at all."
What happened next happened so fast, you didn't even get a chance to react. Without a warning, Affogato Cookie had you pinned against the wall, an all-too-crafty smirk on his face. Your shocked gasp came out as a startled whimper .
"That's where you're wrong, my sweet~" he purred. "That's why I led you to my altar. That's why I'd like you to stay with me."
"Stay...with YOU?"
"Stay with me FOREVER. Become my apprentice. I will make MUCH better use out of your magic. I can make much better use...out of YOU."
You trembled as he pressed closer against you and you felt his sultry words creep right into your ear. "You've led yourself and others to believe that you're gentle and caring...but with such powerful magic like that, I don't believe a WORD of it. With a little digging...I think I'll find that you have a mind as CUNNING as mine~"
If you had been in your right mind, you would've shoved him away and dove out the window to make a run for it. But the way Affogato Cookie was speaking to you...the way he made you feel completely helpless while offering you a path to salvation at the same time seemed to have frozen you in place. Was this offer worth taking? Could you still find your place in the kingdom through him?
You felt his fingers pinch your chin and tilt it up to face him. His snakelike eyes seemed to be hypnotizing you, as you felt like you were losing all feeling in your arms and legs. "So, my pet...what do you say?"
At this point, when you looked back, you didn't see a future with the Watchers. If this was the only way forward...why pass it up?
"...Yes."
Affogato Cookie, snaggin all the b*tches with his tricks as per usual. Nothing to see here. (Also, I totally didn't have to look up who Akane Toriyasu was because I haven't played Yandere Simulator in a dog's age, totally not)
