hope everyone’s doing great! good luck with your studies! ❤
Hello!
My name is Allison and I am a freshman journalism student! This is my first time actively trying to maintain a studyblr, so I figured I would introduce myself!
About Me:
• I am 19 years old
• I’m currently in my first year of college
• I live in Tennessee
• I would love to learn French, but currently only speak English
Interests:
✨ I love movies! I could spend all day watching Netflix and Youtube lol
✨ Reading is something that I’ve always loved, but I’ve fallen out of it lately :/
✨ I am SUCH a foodie! The quickest way to my heart is by making me food, no lie.
✨ I really like listening to music, and I have a very eclectic music taste! Some of my favorite artists include Lady Gaga, Hozier, Billie Eilish, Sasha Sloan, and Charlotte Lawrence!
Goals:
✏️ I want to up my study game! I am definitely a procrastinator and I know that if I put in the right amount of effort, I can get my grades to where I want them to be!
✏ Unrelated to studying, I want to get a job. I want to be able to somewhat support myself financially, and it does help that I currently live at home with my parents!
✏ Finally, I want to gain more life experience! This is somewhat related to my schooling because I don’t really have a career goal right now. I don’t know what I want to do with my life, and I hope gaining more life experience will help me figure it out!
Classes I’m Taking:
📕 Principles of Advertising
📕 Survey of United States History II
📕 Writing for Interactive Experiences
📕 Video Journalism Practices
📕 Digital Media Skills
Some studyblrs that inspire me!

If you’d like, give me a follow and we can be mutuals! It would be great to follow and get to know more active studyblrs!
planner, lunch and ambition for the studyblr asks!!
omg thank you for the ask!!planner: ok. funnily enough i’ve had a studyblr since 2016, but it never took off (mostly because i never had the time to properly curate it and manage it) but then i made this one around thesis season late last year, and surprisingly, it took off. i think people were entertained by all the screaming.lunch: this is embarrassing. i love chips. but honestly, they take my focus off the studying and usually segue into tv show binging. so for actual studying, i like sliced apples or sliced mixed melons (watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew), grilled cheese, or any other sandwich. if i’m feeling lazy, i binge on sweets, but i don’t recommend that because from experience, you’re gonna crash.ambition: i love this one. my current study goal is very different from my undergrad one in the sense that then, i was very very very focused on maintaining honors status, but didn’t really need to study steadily to do it. now, i don’t care so much about grades (because it’s normal to have bad grades in law school), but i want to be able to study in such a way that i can perform and participate with integrity and passion in class. and this entails a lot of discipline that i don’t really have, or haven’t really learned, and maintaining a lot of requirements and a sense of professionalism. is it hard? yes. i’ve had to drop a class. but it makes me realize that failure really is a means of growth, and that i’ll make it someday if i keep trying.ahhhh again thank you for the asks!!!!
Do you have a favorite poem?
Yes! Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep by Mary Elizabeth Frye <3333
1. the to do list I started with when I was stressing in the morning.
2. the to do list at the end of the day after both my afternoon classes piled on the homework projects due immediately.
That was a bit of a day.
A Gmorning to help me through this hell of a day.
My linguistics midterm 100% fell right out of my brain. I guess I thought it was next week? It is not.
Paper due tomorrow that I ignored over break, trying not to beat myself up over it. Just get it done and learn from this for next time.
Missed a shop class and have to find an extra hour sometime in the next couple days to go in and finish orientation so I can work in class next week.
Pretty sure I've got the flu, lowkey because I got the shot, but still feeling like trash. Picked up some medication & ginger tablets after work yesterday though, so I can munch on grapes to my heart's content.
