Curdie's outfit has been updated a little to be more Italian Renaissance but only if you squint. Also I am sad I couldn't include his baby-blue 80s sweat-headband but it is very clearly an 80s aerobics headband. XD

Princess Irene on the other hand has changed much less but it's still a departure from historical fashion in a number of ways. I had fun with her hair though. Any excuse to do long Princess hair.

These sketches of older versions of Curdie, Prince Froglip, and Princess Irene were inspired by @darkraixcesselia95 ‘s fanfic, The Princess, the Goblin, and the Wolf. Not totally accurate, but hey, it’s a start. I want to say thank you, @darkraixcesselia95 , for keeping the PATG fandom alive with your fic, and I’m always checking for updates, as I do enjoy reading it myself.

Trying to figure out their size differences was a little difficult since it sort of looked wrong. Irene is 8 and Curdie is 12, so the adult guard is there to show just how small they actually are.

I imagine this is very much in the future where he outgrew his mohawk phase (That's soooo 1991) and went to braids. He can't do them himself and he's trying not to be such a momma's boy anymore so he got Irenie to do them. Froglip would probably listen to pop while dancing since it's not actually music (lol just kidding ^^'' bad joke). So far I've been listening to www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOg5Vx… so that's probably the music he's dancing to (Froglip probably just made it up that he couldn't listen to music so Curdie would sing at him more lol)
