How do you deal with not wanting to cry when one of you're favourite teachers forget you have a preferred name and deadnames you(not sure if it was intentional lmao)?

oh this took my right back to 9th grade. I had one teacher that would sometimes use the wrong pronouns and sometimes my birth name (which had been replaced by Emmett in the school system) and it made me so embarrassed and angry and not know what to do.

i'm personally not good at confrontation, especially about that, so i never said anything when it happened. but a few classmates saw how uncomfortable it made me and said it also made Them feel uncomfortable and that were happy to correct our teacher if they had my permission :,)

either consistantly remind folks when they mess up, or have a friend do it for you!

I imagine this is very much in the future where he outgrew his mohawk phase (That's soooo 1991) and went to braids. He can't do them himself and he's trying not to be such a momma's boy anymore so he got Irenie to do them. Froglip would probably listen to pop while dancing since it's not actually music (lol just kidding ^^'' bad joke). So far I've been listening to www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOg5Vx… so that's probably the music he's dancing to (Froglip probably just made it up that he couldn't listen to music so Curdie would sing at him more lol)

Did someone say #transformationtuesday? This is the first one I've done. I don't like showing pictures of me before my transition but I realized it's only because I look at that person and I realize how unhappy she was. How she yearned for more, HE yearned to be seen and accepted but did not have the knowledge or words to express those feelings. He was knocking from the inside for years, asking to be seen and be allowed to be outwardly represented. This picture was the spring of 2009, my high school grad year. It's now 8 years later and you can see the man I am becoming. Nearly two years ago I came out to myself and slowly to others. Last summer I was fully out.
