So why is sega continuing to bring Zavok back?

Btw I’m not criticizing, I used to hate it but by now it’s basically a silly tradition, but I still find it interesting…

Why zavok out of all deadly six? Why only him? Is it popularity? If anything i’d say zazz is unfortunately the most recognizable one (sonic dash bossfight), and it’s not like the deadly six are the most popular characters ever…

And most people are neutral or dislike them, why do they continue to push zavok to be a thing? In the most random places ever, like girl why was he working with eggman in sonic team racing, what made the deadly six unique is that they hated Eggman and made him work with Sonic… At least in idw they make sense, don’t act out of character and most importantly there’s the six of them

And now is only zazz and zavok

I don’t like them all that much but it annoys me tf out how it’s never the six of them, like sega at least let them be a team you already got the models

My best bet is that they want a character to represent the 2010’s since they’re not just forgetting it existed and they really didn’t had a lot of new characters, and they’re NOT adding all six of them to saturate the cast.

Sticks is more of a boom thing and infinite is vanished from canon for some reason (I’m also interested on that… why can’t he ever appear on anything? Because he’s dead? Tikal is still here, and shadow was revived, so because his game was hated? Mephiles was brought back, and not like lost world was all loved… I don’t get it)

Who is the zavok fan in sega that keeps sneaking him up on anything lmao

Or maybe he’s just a stock villain that they can add without worries because it’s not like he has an over complicated lore or personality (and they STILL fucked it up in team racing how is that possible?)

Same thing was happening to Vector on the 2010’s

He was in riders, on sonic team racing, the olympic games, IN BOOM, VECTOR IN SONIC BOOM. BEFORE FUCKING ROUGE OR SILVER IQKSIQLDIAKQIQ HUH

And where was the rest of his team meanwhile? Idk he sold them to amazon ig

So glad they seem to back up from that and include them too, but who is the Vector fan in SEGA that kept insisting on putting him on everything, because it’s NOT a popularity thing, if anything Espio is the more known it would’ve made more sense to be him the one included in everything…

Saw someone in twitter say that the reason why idw characters will probably not be in crossworlds is because they don’t wanna do new models and that’s so real

Like why do you think all the npc are animals? Them sonic forces avatar models are doing wonders

And maybe that’s why prime characters are already confirmed, the models are already at reach

This means that characters with no 3d models or lowpoly ones (as in, the mobile game) have fewer chances… damm
