🐠 Daily Fish Fact: 🐠
The Cobia, aka, the lemonfish, has large pectoral fins that are normally carried horizontally, perhaps helping the fish attain the profile of a shark. Fibrous villiform teeth line the jaws, the tongue, and the roof of the mouth. They attain a maximum length of 78 in and a maximum weight of 172 lb. It is a very curious fish, showing little fear of boats.

They don’t know it but I’d let them kill me. They wouldn’t do that, despite their violence, they can’t stand me being harmed. I wish they would. I wish they could take themself out on me, all their feelings. Whatever that causes me is inconsequential.

I would do so, so many things to have something that smells like Them right now. It’s been so long I don’t even remember what they smell like. Life can be so rude.
They haven’t even spoken to me in two weeks and yet I’ve been listening to Ethel Cain and The 1975 at any given moment. They are the only thing that gives me hope, they’re the only thing that allows me to imagine a version of myself aftwr the moment I’m living in. They are phenomenal, despite the battles they’ve been given. Sometimes I feel like I’m just another battle. They keep hanging out with me, they make the effort. They don’t think of me like that but they want me around. That’s crazy enough. Someone so real wanting me around. There has to be an ulterior motive. Why isn’t there? I almost wish there was, it would be easier to cope with. I don’t know what to do with actual friendship. Why did I have to ruin it with my horrifically complex feelings? Why did I have to want them so completely? They would make a great big brother but unfortunately I can’t stop thinking about the way their hand feels in mine. They could be what I’ve needed for a while, they could be a good friend, but that’s not what I deserve. I don’t deserve consistent or solid or good. I can’t stand this. I can’t stand myself.
I was told this would go away the more I got to know them. This was told to me like it was fact. I was told so many stories about them and how they are a good friend but they’re just not a good lover and yet I’m here. I’m still here. All I want is more of them. To know more of them, to be with them more, to see more of them. It’s so unfair how utterly nothing I am compared to them. How could I ever think I had a chance.
