is it that it's kind of a trope for orphan characters to bring up their dead parents "too often" and so people project that onto utena even though she does not do that? is it that people think any amount of talking about it, no matter how rarely, is "too much" so they overestimate how much it happens? i genuinely don't understand it.

So I’m re-reading 3Tan in anticipation of 3Tan9 and is yoongi sleeping with anyone else? He says that night they finish the album that he doesn’t hook up with other people when he’s seeing someone. But in the sundress part he talks about not being the one to take her out.
