Curry Tree (Murraya koenigii or Bergera koenigii), is a tropical and sub-tropical tree native to Asia. Also sometimes called sweet neem. Its leaves, known as curry leaves, are used in many dishes in the Indian subcontinent. This one is a bonsai (tree in a pot) and I’m attempting to ail layer it (which is what the silver foil is). The berry pulp is said to be edible, with a sweet flavour. Likes to grow at temps above 18ºC (64°F). The fresh leaves are used in Indian cuisine . They are most widely used in southern and west coast Indian cooking, usually fried along with vegetable oil, mustard seeds and chopped onions in the first stage of the preparation. #CurryTree #MurrayaKoenigii #Berry #SweetNeem #India #cooking #flower #abcmygarden #Curry (at Belmont, New South Wales, Australia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CpwrA6ePSNw/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
