If there was a reaction, he certainly didn’t show it. Barely even the slightest TWITCH when the paper hits his head, turning the page in his book as if nothing had happened. He does speak up after a moment, however, “If you hit the tip of my earlobe next time I might be vaguely impressed.”

  tch. typical STICK IN THE MUD hanzo response. genji rolls his eyes from where he’s sprawled himself out on the couch before he goes back to occupying his hands with ANOTHER piece of paper, taking to folding this one rather than simply scrunching it into a ball.

     “ brother, if i was trying to impress you i would not be THROWING PAPER at you, ”  he drawls, eyebrows raising while his eyes remain trained on the next line he folds.  “ although i will admit that those are uncharacteristically LOW standards for you. have you grown tired of being disappointed in everyone? ”

The waters were warmer than what she was used to, but it was a pleasant change of scenery for the selkie.  She had made a temporary home in a little cove and would venture out to explore. 

It was early morning when she’d made her way.  The shoreline was silent and for a while, it seemed that Niamh’s only company was the fish that swam beneath her in the sea.  Soon, though, a figure appeared on the beach and went into the water -- Niamh watched him from afar for a while, bobbing in the water.  She wasn’t sure if she should approach.  Yet she was terribly lonely...surely it wouldn’t hurt to see if they would want some company?

Besides, humans loved when wildlife would approach them at the beach.  Niamh had seen numerous times how they would feed seagulls, or coo over baby turtles as they made their way out of their nests.  She worked up the nerve at last to duck under the water and swim over to the human, playfully nudging at his legs under the water before popping up a few feet away from him.

my first impression of your muse : 

hanzo - i was captivated by the tattoo on his arm, tbh, lmfao. hanzo was one of the VERY FIRST overwatch characters i learned of, if not THE first. i thought his design was cool, his abilities bombin’, but—then i learned he’s kind of a prick. …and tbh that only made me love him MORE. i’m nowhere near eloquent tonight, you’ll have to forgive me ; but my first impression of hanzo was that he was cool, & it only got BETTER the more i discovered of him.

sojiro - if i’m being entirely honest with you, i don’t recall what i first thought when i heard about sojiro. …i think it was that i thought he was fake, & not actually their dad—not because i didn’t think they HAD a dad, but because i thought blizzard wouldn’t reveal something like that.once i realized the truth, it was a little difficult to give much thought towards him, considering how little INFORMATION we have on the man ; but i think any man who condones one of his children killing another is a DICK, ‘clan honor’ or not.

my first impression of you : 

h o n e s t l y i really admired you for a while before our first interaction,& for that i was always too shy to approach—so i’m really glad you were the first to drop somethin’ in my activity feed. :’P from there my impression of you only grew better - you’re a joy to chat & plot with, & the IC interactions we’ve had have all been some of my favorites to reply to. c; 

my favorite thing about your muse :

hanzo - that one voiceline of his, ‘i choose you, spirit dragon.’

sojiro - okay, specifically regarding YOUR interpretation of him, just how much you have DEVELOPED for sojiro. like, we literally get next to NOTHING aside form his name, & you’ve taken the little we know & made it into a whole thought-out character with REASONING & INTENTION & DEPTH. i will always respect writers who can take so little & make it into something so intriguing.

would I ever consider shipping our muses : 

hanzo - given the zero interactions we have between hanzo & jack, i never considered it—but like all ships, it could be fun to develop if done so properly & i, personally, am always interested in discovering new ways to mesh muses together. c:

sojiro - my interpretation of jack is more interested than bringing sojiro to justice than bringing him home to meet the parents ; that said, that one thread we threw together ? i do believe jack would drop fairly suggestive commentary here & there, but that’s more due to the fact that my young jack is a mouthy brat who uses any & all methods to get his job done.

a plot I’d like to see between our muses : 

hanzo - literally anything ,, but - as most others seem to be - i’m interested in jack back @ overwatch, not necessarily working FOR them, but working WITH them ; bring hanzo into the mix somehow for a viable reason, let them get sent on a mission together, and just—let them bond or w/e lmfao. 

sojiro - listen i like what we had, where the two were creeping around the real topic with not-so-subtle comments & quips ; i’m just sittin’ here with popcorn hopin’ for a fight. ;0
