I don't do a ton of fantasy customs any more, but the Breyer Classic Quarter Horse Foal just makes such a great unicorn! Wisp has been made over into an old-style unicorn with the lion type tail and cloven hooves, and I just really think she's a lovely little thing.

Time for another fantasy horse! This one still needs a name. She’s a wild mare with exciting hot green zebra fantasy stripes and metallic blue body color. This is another enamel Breyer Stablemates, who was really fun to create. The blue is just irresistible with how shiny and bright it is. The hot green was surprising, it could have been garish but it didn’t end up that way...probably because it couldn’t over-power the blue. It’s hard to see, but the hooves are a sparkle black. The favorite photo is actually the one where she’s faced directly away from the camera...because it seems extra dramatic somehow, like an action-scene shot. My Triad Toys Raven HS on a Volks' Neo Goh Guy body, wearing new wigs I made for him. The body doesn't match at all, but I like the head-to-shoulder ratio of this body with this head on, and the height. I'm not a fan of the rest of the proportions, so I'm looking into getting another body for him. He's a female 1:6 head sculpt so finding a body that I like and works for him, is gong to be a pain in the gut.

I'm a bit torn, I like the blue wig better on him, but I accidentally damaged it when I removed it form his head. They are both synthetic fiber, so I have to heat set the hair in place. I usually use a dummy head made out of foil, but this time I wanted to prevent ruining the shape while removing it from the foil, so some of the glue got stuck on his head and a small piece of the front of the wig got ripped. I think I can still fix it, but the hair is all puffy now. I'll have to heat set the hair again, and try not to ruin it this time. All that hard work gone in a second. *sigh*
