With Hobi’s new song, I wanted to dedicate a little something to him, because who doesn’t love him. 💕 This is gonna be super soft though and only implied wg, I just can’t seem to hurt him at all. Also I’m a sucker for the older Hyungs looking after the younger Hyungs because they don’t get enough love. We’ll name this one Cooking Class.
Warning ⚠️
SUPER SOFT!
When Hoseok decided it was finally time to move out of his parents home and live on his own, his Appa and Eomma bought him a round of cooking lessons to help him learn the basics in the kitchen. He was excited to finally learn how to make something more than ramen.
When he first got into the lesson he found that there was only himself present. He frowned wondering where everyone else was. There were two teachers present at the front of the class, waiting for more to show, but when 20 minutes went by, they decided to just start the lesson. It would be easier with just one anyway.
The two introduced themselves as Jin and Yoongi, smiling at Hoseok nicely. He too told them his name, bowing his head. “Well this isn’t the showing we had planned, but maybe people are busy today.” Jin rubbed his neck awkwardly.
Hoseok frowned, worried that the two were going to send him home, but they didn’t. “We can start now though. It will be a great experience for Hoseok-ssi to have two teachers looking over him.” And he really needed it, considering he once set fire to the microwave for heating up his dumplings for 60 minutes instead of 6 and then forgot about them.
The two took Hoseok over to the work station and began the first easy recipe they had planned. Simple eggs and rice. Both Jin and Yoongi began cooking the dish, showing Hoseok the way to do it, his own cooking going on next to them as he was situated in the middle.
They spent the whole time, chatting with him, and showing him the best techniques. Yoongi always seemed to be hovering around the boy with soft touches to his hands, while Jin was very obvious, standing behind him, holding his hand to stir or cut up ingredients. It was a lovely class and in the end they had three dishes looking pretty good.
“Alright, dig in Hoseok-ah. How does it taste?” Jin smiled. Hobi’s eyes widened in delight as he tasted the simple yet well tasting rice and eggs. It was so plain, yet one of the best food he’d had in a long time. Like a restart on his tastebuds. It wasn’t over the top, just perfect.
“Amazing!” Hoseok smiled, downing his medium sized bowl. It was delicious. “Will you try it?” He held up a mouthful, excited to show his teachers how well he did in the first class, but Yoongi and Jin shook their heads. “Ah, sorry Hoseok-ssi, we aren’t allowed to eat any of the food. Job rules, but you can have ours too.” He pointed to the other two bowl.
Hoseok’s eyes went wide looking at the food, but he didn’t really want to argue. If it was the rules then that was it, he was never a rule breaker. He finished his bowl and did find that he could eat more, so he dug into one of the others. “You can take it home too. You don’t have to eat it all if you’re full.” Jin said, seeing that the boy had picked his own over Yoongi’s and to make sure neither felt less than the other, Hoseok agreed.
He left that day with three bowls full of rice and eggs in his tummy, and knew he’d be back for the next class in two days and his stomach certainly wouldn’t mind if he was the only one again.
