This has probably been said before but whatevs. As a casual Walty shipper, I feel like Walter would regularly call Henry Hen as a nickname, but Walter’s the ONLY person that’s allowed to call him that. Like anyone else who tried calling him Hen would get immediately corrected, because that’s Walter thing and no one else’s. And they would get defensive if anyone ever questioned them on it.

"Here you go, my dear.” She smiled warmly, her skirts pooling about her knees and feet as she crouched to be on the elfling’s eye level as she offered him the basket full of sweet buns. Some had frosting, others crumble or chocolate on top and he was welcome to choose any he liked.

She watched him ponder a moment, before his little hand snatched the sugar covered bun. Her smile widened and she was about to stand up but before she could do that, she felt little lips quickly pressed against her cheek and a ‘thank you’ mumbled with slight shyness and a lot more happiness to it.

“You are very welcome.” She chuckled, watching him trot back to his parents, biting eagerly at the sweet treat.
