"!!! Waaah! Oh my goodness, it's so cute! I-I can really have this?" Shuichi is immediately hugging the giant shiba plush against him. "It's so soft...." He's squeezing it tight and admiring even more just how cute it is!

"Ryuji-kun... I love it! Th-Thank you!!" He leans his head over to give him a bright smile! "Hehe, I'm going to find the perfect spot in my room for it! It'll be nice to lay against, I bet... Thank you so much again!"

It'd be a little difficult to give him a hug while hugging this giant plush, so he settles for giving him a playful boop with it!

"Kaede-san! Merry Christmas!" And here comes Makoto, with a grin on his face and two gifts in his hands. The largest one being a pink backpack with a cat face and paws as one of the flaps. The second was a box wrapped somewhat poorly in festive paper and tied with a bow. Inside of that was a set of wooden measuring spoons in different shapes, sizes, and even colors!

"I saw the bag and thought of you. And the spoons I thought you would appreciate," He nervously chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "Hopefully you like them?"

"Hi, Makoto-kun!! Merry Christmas to you, too~!" The moment she saw the backpack, her eyes immediately light up!! "Aahh!! This backpack looks sooo cute, oh my god!!" Seeing that the flaps could go up or down, as if the kitty was 'hiding' its face, made her coo even more! "Hehe, I love the design of this, it's so adorable!! I'm gonna pair this with soo many cute outfits~!"

Then she opens the set of wooden measuring spoons, and she's just as ecstatic! "Ooo!! These look so neat! It's even got sizes I've been trying to find eeeverywhere in stores, but never could! Oh I'm going to be using these sooo much."

Smile brighter than ever, she rapidly nods her head. "You bet I do!! I love both of my gifts so much~! Hehe that just goes to show how well Makoto-kun knows me, like I knew he would!!"

Carefully placing her gifts aside, Kaede goes in to give him a big hug! "I'll take good care of my presents, I promise~!"

mischievous grin is evident on his features as he allows his legs to swing forward and back as he sits perched on the table, watching emile as he approaches. it's clear he's hiding something behind his back: a present, of course! " you look handsome, " he hums as he looks up at his boyfriend. " i got you a present! " he says, suddenly, revealing the neatly wrapped box in his hands now. spoiler alert: it's a happy moon watch, he saw it once and it reminded him of emile.

          “oh? do i really? haha, thank you. i tried my best.” seeing as how he was expected to arrive at a family member’s home soon to celebrate his birthday with his sister, emile wanted to at least clean up a bit since he knew pictures would be taken. hearing aleks’ compliment seemed to have put him at much ease regarding his appearance; after all, if the fashionista of the two thought emile looked nice, surely he did. it wouldn’t be like aleks to sugarcoat things, even if emile was his boyfriend.

          walking closer to where aleks sat, emile indeed caught sight of the way the other was seated on the tabletop, and with an arched brow, he almost asked what aleks was holding when the gift box was presented to him just before the question could be formed. despite it being his birthday, emile still seemed surprised to be given a present as he took the box in hand. “oh, whoa, you got me a gift?” well, of course he did — aleks had more than the means to do something like this; plus, the two of them had been together long enough that gifts exchanged between the two of them really shouldn’t have been so strange. and yet, emile found himself smiling stupidly down at the box in his hand, pointer finger picking away carefully at the wrapping paper as if he wanted to preserve it, face blushing slightly at the thought of aleks caring enough about his birthday to go out of his way to acquire a gift. 

          in the end, the paper was torn off to reveal the watch’s box, and upon eventually laying eyes on the clock face adorned with constellations and celestial bodies once the box was opened, emile found himself speechless as he studied the intricate array of diamonds that encircled the face of the watch and the fine detailing in the craftsmanship. “oh my goodness — this is stunning.” breathlessly, he found himself remarking watch’s beauty, and with extra care, he took it out of the box to examine it further. “you really got this for me? this is so nice.” easily much nicer than any of the other watches he owned. “is this on par with a rolex? it sure feels like it.” but the cost mattered very little to him, actually. the design was much more significant to him, and he was incredibly flattered that aleks thought to gift him this watch in particular. “you’re so sweet to me. i love it, thank you.” and a kiss was placed on aleks’ forehead before another was pressed to his lips. “do you want to help me put it on since you’re here?”
