Now I’ve been an indoor cycling instructor for three years, but ironically, I’m not the best on the road 😂 Last weekend I had my first accident while cycling from Marina Baarage to East Coast. Hit a bump coming up a ramp on a very rough road, lost control of my bike and fell over. 🚲 My first thought was “Hope I didn’t just destroy the new bicycle Johnny got me”. Then I noticed the huge gash on my knee. Oh, 🤬! Johnny calls for an ambulance and tries to calm me down. “It looks bad!” (I’m such a 😿👶🏻 sometimes.) The most pain I ever felt was when the doctor injected local anaesthetic directly into the wound. &;)&;@:”/&/)/!! A few stitches later and a cast for my fractured left hand, I was finally home. I’m out of commission for at least a week until the stitches and cast come off. I can’t bend my left knee and been limping around all day - painkillers help but it’s starting to wear off and I’m running out.
