I made some SAM cygnian (shorthand for mspec cenelian, named after the black hole Cygnus X1) flags!
Do you know a good place to buy a manuscript page?
i sure do ebay is your friend. i know it may seem sketch to buy medieval objects on ebay, but if you can find a seller that is trustworthy and has dealt in rare books/manuscripts/antiquarian books for at least a few years or more with over a 99.8 feedback rating you’re basically in the clear. my favorite seller for MS pages and other cool old/rare books is tuscanybooks on ebay, who boasts a solid 100% feedback rating on over 2,000 transactions in rare books, as well as 35 years of experience in the book biz, with a guarantee of 100% authenticity and a full money-back return policy if notified within 2 weeks. here’s a link to tuscanybooks “Manuscripts” section of their store
if you click on some MS pages from tuscanybooks, you will get recommendations of other MS pages, too, and can just click around and explore from there, or search ebay for “medieval manuscripts” “book of hours” “vellum leaf” “vellum manuscript page” or similar keyterms within the Antiquarian Books section. its really fun and sometimes i end up browsing for MS pages or full codexes for like an hour…….anyways ebay is the cheapest shot you have at owning a medieval MS page. there are other sites that are specific to rare book-selling and even MS-specific sites, but they’re tough to vet unless you really have it on Good Faith that they are trustworthy, and they’re almost always more expensive than winning an ebay auction. have fun and let me know if you buy something cool i love manuscripts

14. Where do you feel safest?with you of course!
19. Do you like school? What elements of school do you like which ones do you not?well i like some stuff. i like college more than high school over all just cuz i feel like im learning more intersting stuff and im not doing as much bullshit thats irrelevant to like what i want to do, but also academia as a whole is shit and the way its structured (like taking chem that covers optics and shit as a prereq for farming, majors, etc) and grades and the power that professors have over students obviously suck, as does how expensive it is and how little support there is for students who want to learn shit but like have trouble with assignments and exams, especially when these assignments/exams are so far removed from what someone pursuing a career in the field would actually be doing.
22. Do you understand yourself?fuck no
