King Arthur Movie 2004
Moon Touched is told through a dual point-of-view that combines first and second person. Unless implied otherwise, "I" refers to Arthur and "you" addresses Creoda.
The reason for this is to emphasize their dynamic as a foil. Arthur represents the human side of kingship, passionate and well-meaning but wracked with flaws, while Creoda represents a cold, detached view of nobility, the soul-poison inherent to the divine right of kings.

Codices
Almost every codex description is written from Arthur's point-of-view. Creoda's thoughts, marked in red, will sometimes interject at random intervals. Choices that are marked by red text also denote Creoda's thoughts.
On the Minor Characters screen, codex descriptions are fixed. However, on the Major Characters screen, codex descriptions pull from a randomized pool, which change at the click of a button.

ARTHUR CODEX DESCRIPTIONS
"You've heard of me."
"Have you come to collect? If it's my filthy wealh head you want, do me the courtesy of cutting with the grain."
"I am Prydain's protector and ward. No other man defends this island on his strength alone. No other power but mine breaks shields."
"A red head to stick on a pike, to hear you speak of me."
"Arthur the king is dead. Arthur the ravager yet lives."
[Creoda's comment:] "Show me who you are."
---
BEDWYR CODEX DESCRIPTIONS
"For years I've called him friend, commanded him warrior, decried him lembo, whispered him heart's blood; no matter the charge, Bedwyr remains my most steadfast companion."
"Stalwart companion to Cai and I. My finest warrior, prone to dreaming."
"Bedwyr... What mess have we gotten ourselves into?"
"My dear friend and fellow survivor. He fights one-handed, for he needs but one to whip your arse."
[Creoda's comment:] "The gimp has no worth to me."
---
CREODA CODEX DESCRIPTIONS
"So you are the one they call moon-touched. Any death-blow dealt to you is in vain. Mysterious, cruel, and short of word, you keep your ambitions well-shrouded."
"Why must Medrawt's eyes mock me through yours?"
"You whom death refuses to keep. You are as reticent and moody as your moon god."
[Creoda's comment:] "I am not your enemy."
---
GWENHWYFAR CODEX DESCRIPTIONS
"My wife and queen, if you must call her such things. Now a devoted bride of the carpenter god, she resides in a convent where she prays for my death."
"The queen, sister to Medrawt. She holds little love for me."
"Gwenhwyfar... I'm sorry."
"Medrawt was right. No need for her to see our ugliness."
"Each day, she prays for our sons' souls."
[Creoda has no comment.]
---
MORGAN CODEX DESCRIPTIONS
"Your eccentric consort who fancies herself a healer. Best keep an eye on her: her sunshine blinds."
"A budding witch who keeps you for a familiar. Your fondness for her cripples you; you seem to enjoy her hatred just as much as her love."
"Your woman, whom you named after the morning. She hardly acts like a country girl to me."
[Creoda's comment:] "I killed her heart, and pay her wergild with my blood. Ik bium thē morgan, dohtar of thiu sunna endiō thê mâno." [Runes on the Morgen-Leoht knife which read "I am the morning, daughter of the sun and moon."]
---
CYNRIC CODEX DESCRIPTIONS
"Your treacherous elder brother, with whom you scrap for ownership of your father's ill-begotten territories like hungry wolves."
"Cerdic's heir, with whom he sailed and began conquering in the name of the Gewisse. A greasy sort, he is."
[Creoda's comment:] "He must die."
---
MEDRAWT CODEX DESCRIPTIONS
"Slain prince of Gododdin and brother to Gwenhwyfar. He died beside the River Cam when I twisted a spear I'd found embedded in his back."
"Useless sod drowned himself in uisge after Amr's death in Ergyng. Gwenhwyfar mocked his inebriation, for which he struck her a blow: an insult I repaid in kind."
"Why must his eyes mock me through yours?"
[Creoda has no comment.]
It's called strategy
uh small ramble below
That time, in his childhood, when Adric gets kidnapped by the same evil magic dude that kidnapped his father when he was a kid, and everyone else goes berserk lol
Rowan definitely does not impulsively go off by himself and try to save his little bro (lies)
Echo and his dad, Cynric, sitting and talking on a hillside in Tymora's afterlife. The gang cast resurrection on the bones of Echo's dad, and the process got a bit more involved....
Me after any thieves guild member with no more than five voice lines calls me their friend
[Najat's first day as guild master]
Najat: Who broke the coffee machine? I’m not mad. I just wanna know.
Rune: I did. I broke it.
Najat: No. No, you didn’t. Vipir?
Vipir: Don’t look at me. Look at Thrynn!
Thrynn: What?! I didn’t break it.
Vipir: Huh. That’s weird. How'd you even know it was broken?
Thrynn: Because it’s sitting right in front of us and it’s broken!
Vipir: Suspicious.
Thrynn: No it's not!
Cynric: If it matters, probably not, but Niruin was the last one to use it.
Niruin: Liar! I don't even drink that crap!
Cynric: Oh really? Then what were you doing by the coffee cart earlier?
Niruin: I use the wooden stirrers to push back my cuticles. Everyone knows that, Cynric!
Rune: Okay let's not fight. I broke it. Let me pay for it, Najat.
Najat: No! Who broke it!?
Thrynn: Najat...Sapphire's been awfully quiet.
Sapphire: REALLY?!
[Everyone starts arguing.]
Najat: I broke it. I burned my hand so I punched it. I predict 10 minutes from now they'll be at each other's throats with warpaint on their faces and a boar head on a stick.
Hey, so I'm curious about your thoughts on jason's guns, cause I know you said you wished he still used them but I've kind of been into him giving them up? at first when it seemed like he might be giving up the idea of killing anyone along with them I understand people's hesitation but he's clearly still for killing the big guys now that we've seen him more since Cheer and the guns just made it too easy for him to react too fast or too emotionally and kill the smaller level guys who could actually be rehabilitated vs the costumed criminals that actually deserve to die in his mind. idk, i think its nice to have him not killing quite as indiscriminately and this is comics where the shorthand for that is guns, like yeah he could still kill with other weapons and i'm sure he will but it'll be more deliberate which I think is important for him, i feel like him giving them up actually helps him get closer to being that more calculated person we see in UTRH rather than the murder hobo he's been in other books, or at least gives writers less of an excuse to make him like that
I have to disagree I think the guns were an important metaphor for how Jason while being a batfamily member was different from the rest, Bruce especially hates guns so just by carrying them around it showed that he was the rebellious one, that he and Bruce ideals are fundamentally opposed to one another as Bruce would never use the weapon that killed his parents while guns are Jason's go to weapon, you also said that without guns Jason's is less likely to act too fast and kill on accident and I think if any author writes Jason killing accidentally with a gun then that's a huge misstep on the authors end bc Jason is too skilled with guns to kill accidentally or miss fire, also just the fact alone that they replaced the guns with a crowbar makes me want to scream bc Jason is not obsessed with the joker, yes he wants him dead, but his life does not revolve around the shitest clown on what ever earth they're all currently on, I'm begging dc to please let Jason choose any other weapon at this point bc it's getting painful
