Um. Hm. Okay. Top 5 Fic.
5. after the end
This is the only d!smp fic I've ever written. Takes place after Doomsday. Pretty proud of it-- character studies are neat.
Summary:
There’s a whisper of sound. A rumble of pleasure, deep and resonant, from the back of his head. It tingles, prickles, pricks like the finest of needle points, up and across his scalp. A sweet, sinister pain. A cacophony of voices, all singing their satisfaction, and still-- always, always-- hungry for more.
Blood for the Blood God.

4. meet me in the woods tonight
Ya like horror, kids? Forest gods? Secret labs and experiments? Really ridiculous smut sequences? Monster fucking? Well do I have the fic for you.
Summary:
There’s something in the woods of Hawkins, Indiana.

3. Under the Covers
At this point, I consider this a toastranger classic. *pats story* this one right here? This one has converted more folk than I can remember. I think this is one of those stories where I really found my footing and voice as a writer. It's just a good ol' boy.
Summary:
Steve is (maybe) a little bit still in love with Nancy Wheeler and (maybe) trying to figure himself out-- between the night terrors and the babysitting and the general weirdness that is Hawkins, Indiana-- before he graduates.
Billy Hargrove fits in there somewhere (probably).

2. cherry pie
This one, just like the pick for 4, was written by myself and the fantastic @brawlite
This one holds a huge place in my heart. I cried while writing it. Just. Part 2 is my favorite thing. Idk why. There's something about this entire thing that just feels like longing and summer. You know, the good stuff.
Summary:
Billy Hargrove lives for summer. Endless sunshine, heavily chlorinated pools, roaming ice cream trucks, and unencumbered freedom? There’s nothing better.
Even being stuck in Hawkins can’t ruin the summer for him. He eats it up, devouring every day whole.

1. draw me after you (let us run)
Okay. So a lot of you are aware that I don't necessarily Love this story anymore-- that is not to say I'm not extremely proud of it or that I'm not enjoying the new direction I'm taking it. I've dedicated over two years to working on it, and still have some more to go, but it's honestly so good? Like, I wrote exactly what I wanted to read, so obviously I think it's good, but it's just... it feels like the perfect Could Have Been to me. Plus, I flex quite a few skills throughout that I'm really glad paid off overtime and/or are paying off.
And the slow burn???
I had planned a first kiss soon, but I'm actually putting it off to later to further the nonsense.
Summary:
“Harry Potter,” comes the soft, sibilant hiss of a voice he has heard in his dreams, in his nightmares, in his waking hours for years.
Slowly, carefully, Harry twists over and pushes up onto his hands and knees. He stays there, short breath fogging in front of his face, and his pursuer lets him. Harry has no doubt of that; he’s being allowed this respite. This small moment to catch his bearings, heart pounding in his ears, blood singing.
“It seems I have finally caught you.”

So there ya have it. There were a few others I think I could argue for here, but I'm happy with this list. ❤
