So like. I move on from d&d characters so often because I can't decide on which aesthetic I want. My options are usually warlocks, because I can use the tragic backstories and manipulative/abusive patrons as cheap therapy to unpack childhood trauma, or a pirate character, it doesn't matter what class or anything, because they're super fun ant sexy. My problems then arise because sexy pirates are shallow in character and bore me, but tragic backstory warlocks are so dull to actually play, so I consistently switch between the two, burning through characters like crazy. But. I've recently had a breakthrough: Fae. Fae are petty and manipulative and borderline abusive as hell, but they're also SEXY AS FUCK! So I'm probably gonna make a Fae warlock or something soon because it sounds better and better the more I think about it.
