Hello again everyone! I uploaded this to my patreon a couple months ago and forgot to queue it up to be released here. My bad!

In conjunction with my Supplemental Arsenal, I decided to make a Docket of Defense: a few suits of armor and other defensive items that the base rules of 5e don't cover. Most of these were pulled from my imagination, as a creative exercise in creating quasi-magical items, things that shopkeepers might have in stock and are expensive, but that might not count as actual magic items.

One of the biggest distinctions that that implies is that these items are not indestructible like magic items normally are, and that these suits of armor could be further enchanted.

There are, of course, some completely mundane items which I decided to stat out as well, such as some new shield types, and some armors like Silkweave and Spiked Plate that appear in other editions of D&D.

One of my great failings is visualising distances/sizes/weights - my D&D players asking how tall the castle wall is will make me groan unhappily every time.

Apparently not any more, because this thing was MADE for folks like me!

How much is 6 tons, aka the weight of a triceratops? 1-2 elephants. Its skull could grow longer than a man is tall (2m).

How far is 500m? The height of this tower (the Taipei 101).

How much is 15 pints? The amount of blood in a human body (approximately)(when living at high altitudes).

My point is... this is awesome and legitimately helpful and I love it.

I just got my order from Inked Adventures and omg, i need to share it with the world!

I bought the 6 Laminated Flagstone Tiles (x)

You get 6 laminated cards with a stone tiles pattern side and a completely blank one. You get all the info on their page (link above) but to sum up: each of the cards is 6x6 inches (for my fellow EU people that’s around 15x15 cm), each tile is 1x1 inch and a 5x5 foot in in game distance so each card is a 30x30 feet square They also give you a really nice dry erase marker (one of those with the magnet on the side, which is a plus for me)

I just tried them out and they seem really durable and the marker was really easy to erase (you know how some leave a super annoying halo behind, but these are still perfect)

I also got the Dungeon Cut-Ups Cards (x)

These are pocket size dungeon resources that you can bring with you super easily! The art style is really pretty and all you need to do is cut up what you need from the various sheets and you’re ready for your session

It comes inside a plastic container (you need a rubber band to keep it closed but it’s still really handy instead of having a bunch of cards and cut outs loose)

Again you get all the info on their page (link above) but to sum it up: you get 43 cards 6x9 cm (for US people, 2 something x 3 something inches, idk how to calculate inches...), stone tiles floors and wood floors with a 1x1 cm grid, doors, stairs, various items you’d find in a tavern and in a dungeon like chests, tables, barrels... and heroes/monsters symbols you can use instead of minis

(just some of the stuff you get in the set, so you get an idea)

I have to travel sometimes for my sessions, since we tend to cycle the house we do them in and both these items are gonna be my saviours!

All in all, i definitely suggest this shop, especially if you live in the EU since they’re UK based
