“Here, we have the baby’s heartbeat,” the doctor spoke, staring at the screen as he moved the stick around your stomach, “ah.”
“W-What?”
“Well, I think I’ve found the reason for how big the bump is at four months,” the doctor chuckled, “congratulations, Miss Lee, you’re having twins.”
“Twins?! Two?”
“Yes,” he laughed, “and everything seems to be healthy with both twins. Would you like to know the gender?”
You shook your head, still in a sort of daze, “no, thank you.”
“Okay. Well, I’ll just print out this ultrasound for you. We’ll need another appointment in two months as you begin third trimester, so hopefully I’ll see you then. Before then if you have any worries, feel free to call and book an appointment.”
Smiling, you nodded and bowed as you left the hospital.
“Oh my god,” you whispered, looking down at your rounded stomach, “Juyeon. Juyeon, I need to tell Juyeon!”
You rushed back into your car, driving straight home where, sure enough, Juyeon wasn’t, the long day of practise still dragging on for the boys.
Sighing, you turned on the TV as you began to prepare your announcement.

“Babies! I’m home!” Juyeon called, throwing his bag on the floor as he came into the living room, “hey, I really want something– something unhealthy, can we get takeout?”
You chuckled, “sure.”
“What does the baby want?” Juyeon cooed, sitting beside you on the sofa as he leaned down, pressing kisses and whispering sweet nothings to your babies.
“Well, actually, there’s something I need to talk to you about,” you smiled.
Juyeon furrowed his eyebrows, sitting up straight, “is everything okay? Oh my god, you went to the doctors today. Wh-What happened?!”
“Nothing! Everything’s completely fine!” you laughed, “b-but– well. Here.”
You gave him the same bag you’d used whenbyou told him your were pregnant, Juyeon digging through the layers to find a baby grow– the same one you’d used two months ago.
“Y/N, what—”
“Keep going!”
Juyeon sighed, digging through more layers before he found another baby grow. Slowly, his eyes widened, until he got to the picture of the ultrasound.
“T-Two?!”
You nodded, tears appearing in your eyes at the joyous expression on your boyfriend’s face, “Ju, we’re having twins!”
“Oh my god,” he whispered, “oh my god!”
He swept you into his arms, swinging you round as he kissed you.
“Put me down!” you squealed, Juyeon laughing as dropped you onto the sofa, kneeling before you and giving your belly two kisses; one on either side.
“That’s why you’re so big,” Juyeon laughed, “I thought you were just my child.”
You laughed, fingers playing with Juyeon’s hair as you looked at him lovingly, “you’re happy, right? This is a good thing?”
“I mean– of course! I’m just– I’m shocked,” Juyeon chuckled, “I can’t believe it. I need to tell the boys. I need to tell my parents!”
“Hold on!” you laughed as Juyeon jumped up, ready to call everyone he knew.
“Huh?”
“Can we order the takeout first? Your children are hungry.”
“Children,” Juyeon beamed, leaning down and kissing your head, “of course.”
