It made you happy beyond words to know that the galaxy was safe once again and your husband would be coming home. You used to be a soldier and had incredible tech skills. You met Levi by being assigned to his ship while he went on special missions. One thing led to another and you ended up becoming lovers, then married.
After you got hurt badly during the galactic war, Levi urged you to take a step back, so you did and your job was to help them from a distance. Levi and you had even moved to a planet known for its pure beauty and to help those recovering from wounds. It was full of rolling purple hills, blue flowers, two bright moons and suns, vast lakes and beaches. It was heaven for you and Levi.
As the shuttle arrived with your husband, you felt a knot in your stomach as you wondered what condition he was in. He always told you everything was fine and then would come back with scars, so you could never predict how he would be. The last two weeks were the hardest of all the battles, so something had to have happened.
Your heart hammered in your chest as you stood with only a few others waiting for the arrival of the soldiers. You watched as the other men got off first and people parted leaving you alone and no husband. You panicked a bit but another shuttle landed, this had to be your husband but you weren't sure why he had special treatment, he never liked that.
Your eyes widened when Levi stepped out with a little three-year-old girl on his hip. "Levi?"
He walked closer allowing you to see the little girl had a robotic leg, she'd clearly lost her leg in the war. "Hey." He leaned over and kissed you passionately. "I missed you."
"I missed you too." You smiled at the green-eyed little girl with thick ginger hair, she was a vision. "Who is this princess?"
The girl giggled. "I'm not a princess."
"Really? How odd because you look like one."
Levi grinned. "This is Clover. I...I saved her...she...she's alone." He looked at you with sad eyes. "I...I was hoping..."
You took Clover from Levi and hugged her. "Do you want to live with me and Levi?"
She nodded. "Please!"
You hummed a laugh. "Wonderful. Well, let's get you inside and well-fed." You placed her on her feet. "Let's go."
Levi placed his hand on your lower back. "Thank you."
You kissed Levi's cheek. "She's an orphan, we want kids and she needs us. She's ours now."
"Yes, she's ours." He smiled softly. "I still want more kids."
You giggled. "We'll make one of our own someday, but for now we have a wonderful daughter to care for!"
Clover had adored her new home and it flustered her that Levi and you bought her so much and gave her a big room. She had a lot of toys to play with and you both were gentle with her, so she knew she could do things at her own pace.
Levi would take her to the doctor once a week to make sure her robotic leg was working well and taking to her body. The two of you would teach her things and play with her often, but she was still very shy when it came to you. She was close with Levi because they'd seen war together, but you were new to her.
You worried that she wouldn't like you and didn't want you as a mother, but Levi told you how much Clover loved you. He told you Clover always asked him to tell her stories about you, to show her pictures of you and to tell her all about the things you liked. Clover wanted to get very close to you, she was just very shy.
After learning from Levi about Clover's adoration for you, you began noticing how she would peep at you, spy around corners, watch you as you moved around and look out for you when she was with Levi. It was adorable how she was with you and you would always say hello and often she'd stay with you, but sometimes she'd blush and run off to a new spot to spy on you.
One day you were sat in the garden working on a gadget to assist you with your fruit growing. You were humming a little song to yourself when your soldier training kicked in, you could sense Clover was close. So, you pretended not to notice, like she was a cute little kitty.
Clover shuffled closer to you, her cheeks pink with a blush and a rabbit plushie in her arms. She peered over your shoulder to look at what you were doing. "Mm...what you doing?"
You smiled softly. "I am making a little device to help me look after my fruit."
She walked around and stared. "Fruit?"
You nodded. "I'm growing all kinds of fruit from different planets. I also grow veg too." You looked up at her. "This device will be placed in the ground and it'll project a grid. Anything inside the grid will be monitored and I'll be updated on if they're ready to harvest or if they become sick."
She crouched and looked at the device. "Coooool." She looked up at you and gave you a toothy grin. "You're smart! I want to be smart like you."
"Well, I can teach you a few things. I used to do a lot of tech for the Legion Galactic Army."
She sat down. "Wow."
You felt your cheeks heat up. "I used to do a lot for Levi and his crew. I was the reason their suits kept them safe, their weapons protected them and the ship stayed flying."
Her eyes sparkled in delight. "Wooooow." She stared at your right hand and arm to see it was robotic like hers. "Umm..."
You wiggled your fingers at her. "Lost this in the war, but Levi saved me. He saved us both it seems." You smiled as she touched your hand. "We match."
She grinned. "We're twins!"
"That's right."
She crawled over and sat on your lap. "I like you." She hugged you tightly. "You're so pretty and cool."
You hugged her back. "Have you been trying to be with me like this since you arrived here three weeks ago?"
She nodded shyly. "Yes."
You kissed the top of her head. "You're so sweet. I'm here for you, always."
Clover had been with you and Levi for a few months now, she was very comfortable with the two of you. She would help you both out and always want to be around you. She would follow you around the most, which warmed Levi's heart that she'd taken to you so much.
Today was her birthday and you'd planned everything for her to ensure she had everything she wanted. This was probably the first one she would remember. So, you and Levi wanted to make it extra special.
You helped Clover change into a cute dress for the day before helping her comb her thick hair. "There we go."
Clover grinned. "Thank you." She reached up and held your hand. "Ready."
You walked with her into the living room to see Levi had finished the last touches. "Happy Birthday, Clover."
Clover gasped when she saw all the decorations, the balloons, banners, hologram animals and bunny-themed things everywhere. She released your hand and hurried forward to see the presents waiting for her, a big cake you had baked and Levi wearing an outfit that matched Clover and you.
Tears filled Clover's eyes. "Mm..."
Levi knelt down. "Happy Birthday, kiddo."
She ran over and jumped into his arms. "Thank you."
He hugged her tightly. "I can't believe you're five! You're growing up so fast."
She sniffed and ran over to you. "Mummy! Hug!"
You dropped to your knees as the wind was knocked out of you. You hugged her as you felt your heart race. "Wh...what...did you call me?"
She pulled back and kissed your cheek. "Thank you, Mummy. I love you."
You smiled brightly through your tears. "I love you too, sweetie."
Clover smiled at Levi. "Thank you, Daddy! I love you."
Levi shuffled over and hugged you both. "You're very welcome. We love you so much."
She released you both and smiled. "Do I get a birthday wish?"
"Of course."
You nodded. "What do you wish for?"
She giggled. "To be a big sister!"
Both you and Levi looked at each other, your cheeks heating up. As Clover ran to open her presents, you and Levi started thinking about her cute wish. As you watched her open her presents, the two of you held hands and cuddled up to each other.
Clover hurried back over to you both and lifted her bunny. "I also want to gift this to the baby." She lowered it. "Mummy, Daddy? Will you make a baby?"
Levi tugged you closer. "I think a nice big family would be good."
It was a warm night, the windows were open and a cool air drifted inside the palace. Right on the balcony with clear views of the land stood the count with a small bundle in his arms. The adorable small bundle was restless and needed soothing.
The wonderful loving Count had collected his son from his bed before he woke the stunning Countess. All he wore was his bottoms and a comfy dressing gown because it was so warm, but he needed to protect himself from the wind.
A gentle and loving smile spread over Levi's lips as he gazed at his baby boy. For years he believed he was a monster because he was used by the King to fight in wars. A beast, monster and demon were his names but you saw him as a loving and sweet man.
The love between Levi and you became legendary. People of Levi's land celebrated their love in a yearly event. Levi loved it but you were so flustered by it all. As your love grew so did your family. The mansion was always filled with laughter and love now because of you and the little Evan.

Evan's tears dried up and a smile spread on his squishy face. He reached out for his father and cooed softly at him.
Levi grinned. "Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Beautiful boy." His was so deep and soothing. The vibration of his voice made Evan sleepy. He kept singing until Evan was in a deep sleep. "Good boy."
As soon as he turned he saw you standing in the doorway in your long nightdress. A loving smile spread over his lips as he took you in. The deep love Levi felt for you is impossible for him to describe. He would tell you he would destroy the world for you.
You moved closer to him and kissed him. "Did he wake?"
"He did." He sighed. "Gods, you are beautiful. Are you really my wife?"
You giggled. "I am." You kissed him again before looking down at your son. "Sweet thing. He's so cute. Your singing was wonderful."
"Th-thank you."
You ran your hand over your son's head. "Let's put him to bed and cuddle."
Levi nodded and made his way into the bedroom. He gently lay his son down into the cot before climbing into bed with you. As soon as he was comfy he wrapped his arms around you and held you tightly. The two of you lovingly kissed each other before sleep took over.

He turned to see Lilly had launched her hat at him. "Oi, oi, little bunny brat. I thought I told you to wear this." He plopped it on her head. "This stays, my little bunny."
Lilly clapped her hands. "Aboo."
"Yes, aboo." He rubbed sunscreen into her skin. "There, all protected from the sun." He leaned closer and kissed her puffy cheek. "My little bunny." He smiled at her in her bunny onesie with a cute skirt part. "You ready to go swimming?"
You picked up her rubber ring. "Don't forget to pop her in this."

Levi scooped her up fast making her squeal with laughter. He walked into the water and slowly lowered down so his daughter and him were in. He held her close as she splashed her hands on the water. "That nice?" He laughed as she splashed more and giggled. "Yeah? That's good."
The two floated around a bit as Levi talked to her and enjoyed her responses. He made sure she stayed close to him and never took his eyes off her. As soon as he noticed she was getting tired, he lifted her and carried her along towards you.
While he chatted to his daughter all eyes were on him. Levi was in tight swim shorts with all his muscles on show, which were now dripping with water. The way he doted, smiled and laughed at his daughter made everyone who watched him melt. Levi was dedicated to you and his daughter, you were both his whole world and he never noticed other people.
Levi pointed at you. "Is that your mummy?"
Lilly squealed and reached out for you. "Ma! Ma!"
You opened your arms to her. "Come here, my little bunny." You took her from Levi and cuddled her tightly. "So cute!" You helped her out of her ring, then put her in her rabbit towel. "All snug as a bug." You hugged her close as she yawned a bit. "Tired I think."
Levi leaned over and kissed you. "I'm going to dig a hole."
You gazed at Levi. "For her to play in?"
"Yeah, I'll put water in it."

You watched Levi run around getting his tools and then he started digging. You smiled and looked down at your daughter as she watched her daddy with pure awe in her eyes. "You watching your funny daddy?"

"He's making you a little paddling pool." You dried her a little then got her a drink. "Careful." You kept an eye on her as she drank, and as soon as you noticed she was done you swapped the drink for a snack. "Good girl."
Levi jogged over to you. "All ready for her."
You looked up at him. "She's just finishing off her snack."
Levi sat on the bed with you and traced patterns on your leg. "We make beautiful babies."
"We do." You stared at him and noticed the look he was giving you. "Levi, give it a few years."
He pouted. "Fine."
You hummed a laugh before kissing him. "I think your little bunny is ready."
He cleaned Lilly's face up and then picked her up. "Paddle time." He sat on the sand and put her in the little hole he put sea water in. "There we go."

Levi lay on his side and handed her toys to use in the water and sand. "Look at this. It's pretty."
Lilly played and studied the shell. "Mm." She looked up a Levi and handed it to him. "Eh."
"Thank you." He leaned closer and kissed her cheek making her giggle. He smiled and kissed her puffy cheek over and over causing her to laugh more. "So cute. I love you so much, my little Lilly pad."
She placed her hand on Levi's cheek then kissed his other. "Da."

You slipped off the bed and sat next to Lilly. "I'm here, my little one."

"You soothe me as well." You looked down at Lilly to see that she was feeling better. "There we go, all better. You want to cuddle with her more?"
Levi nodded. "I want to spend as much time as possible with her and you."
You stood up and moved back to the sunbed. "Come on then."
Levi climbed onto the sunbed for couples and wiggled up to you. He took Lilly, sat her on his stomach and rested her back against his upright thighs. "There we go."
Lilly patted Levi's abs a bit before grabbing his pec. "Aboo."
You lay on your side and cuddled up to Levi. "She's always fascinated by you."
Levi smiled at Lilly. "She does poke, pull, grab and slap me a lot." He frowned and looked over at you. "Kind of reminds me of someone."
You smirked. "Cheeky."
He leaned over and kissed you. "I am."
Lilly flopped against Levi's chest. "Mm."
Levi rubbed her little back. "I think it's nap time for her."

He smiled at the safe wording you were using around Lilly. "I work hard for you two. I want to give you a good life and I need to stop the bad guys."
Levi loves it when it's bath time with his son. Before he became a father, bath time was a way he relaxed and spent a romantic moment with you. After his son was born, he took care of bath time so you could relax. He encouraged you to relax because you always did so much for him and your darling son.
So, tonight was bath time and he was going to share the bath with his darling son, Evan, while you were making the last snacks of the night before bed. The tub was a perfect heat with Evan's usual toys in.
Levi sat behind his son as he washed his hair and talked about the smallest things. Each chat and story was fun and made Evan giggle. Evan adored both of you so much and he was always full of happiness and joy.
Once Evan was cleaned up, Levi cleaned himself quickly. He lifted his son up and out of the bath before joining him. It was clear Evan was full of energy, so Levi needed to act fast to dry his son off and change him. He wrapped a towel around his hips first and then grabbed Evan's fun towel with little rabbits all over.
As soon as Levi turned around he saw his son's back and little butt disappear out of view. Evan raced out of the bathroom giggling away. It took Levi a few beats to register what had happened, but then he kicked into action and sprinted after his son.
You hummed a little song to yourself as you checked your freshly baked chocolate-filled croissants. You were happy they were cooled down enough for your husband and son to enjoy. A little giggling getting closer caught your attention because it was getting louder and closer.
When the giggles grew very close, you turned around to see your three-year-old son running butt naked through the living room as he laughed. You gasped when your husband soon followed with a towel wrapped around his hips, his muscles shining with the last bits of bath water on him. Every muscle was divine in your eyes and his wet hair hung in his eyes a little.
You gripped your chest as a mix of emotions filled you. You were excited at seeing your husband almost naked running around, but at the same time, it was incredibly funny and sweet that your son was making a break for it.
You started laughing at the sight. "My goodness."
Levi scooped up his son making Evan squeal with laughter. "We've got an escaped convict! A criminal known as Evan Ackerman ran away from the scene of the crime!" He held Evan upside down. "Criminal has now been apprehended!"
Evan laughed hard. "Daddyyyy"
You walked over to the pair. "What's his crime?"
Levi hugged Evan close. "Being too cute."
Evan giggled. "Hi, mama!"
You waved at him. "Hi, my little bunny. So, you're a little criminal, huh?"
"Yes!"
Levi hummed. "He learned his powerful cuteness ability from the greatest cute criminal in the world."
You smirked. "Oh yeah."
He walked up to you and kissed you. "You. I've got my eye on you, Mrs Ackerman."
Evan patted your cheek. "Pretty mama."
You kissed his cheek. "Thank you."
Levi put Evan over his shoulder causing him to laugh. "I'm going to take this criminal away. If you're good, Evan, you can get a tasty reward."
You hummed a laugh. "He's right, I made chocolate croissants."
Evan cheered. "Thank you, mama!"
Levi pointed at you. "I'll give you your tasty reward later tonight when this criminal is in his cell for the night." He winked at you. "Prepare yourself."
You felt a shiver run through. "Y-Yes!"
Levi carried his son back and changed him quickly into his favourite PJs. As soon as Evan was dressed, Levi handed him his favourite cuddly bunny. Levi cleaned the bath with Evan following him around. Once everything was cleaned, Levi pulled on his PJs and carried his son back to you in the living room.
You snuggled up to your husband on the sofa and began kissing his neck. "You're such a wonderful father to him."
Levi massaged the inside of your thigh. "Thank you. I just try and have fun with him." He gazed at you. "You're an incredible mother."
You felt yourself flush. "Thank you." You kissed him and hummed. You smiled when you heard Evan giggling. "Levi, I think the criminal is watching."
Levi looked over at Evan standing there with his croissant in his little hands. "You're right. The criminal is back!"
Evan squealed with laughter and ran away. "Can't catch me!"

You tapped away on your phone. "I have texted Kuchel to let her know."

You smirked at the pet name. "You're welcome." You winked at him and then gazed at your daughter. "Do you want Daddy to help you change?"
Lilly nodded. "Please!"
Levi stood up and carried his daughter to her room. "Let's go!" He popped her on her little feet as she giggled. "What would you like to wear today?"
"Same as Mummy!"
He smiled and grabbed a shirt with bunnies on and some dungarees. "Your Mummy will wear something like this. She always wears dungarees." He picked a pair of socks for her. "Here you go, little Lilly bug. I'll do your hair after."
She huffed as she pulled on her shirt, but then struggled with the dungarees. "Daddy, help."
He knelt in front of her and did the clips. "There you go. You even have a pocket at the front for snacks or a little cuddly toy. Mummy puts snacks in hers. What do you want in yours?"
She hummed in thought. "Bunny!"
He grabbed her little bunny and put it in the front pocket. "There, you can work together." He combed her hair and tied it up on top of her head making him chuckle, it looked like a pineapple top. "Perfect. Lastly is socks, do you need help?"
She sat on the floor and wiggled her little feet. "Please."
He slipped on her pretty socks and smiled. "All sorted, the little beans are safe."
She clapped her little hands. "Beans!"
The two of them hurried over to you as you waited by the front door. You all wore your work shoes and climbed into Levi's vintage pickup truck. All three of you sang along to songs playing on the radio causing a lot of laughter and smiles.
Once you'd arrived, Levi spoke to the shop owner to let them know that Lilly was with him and if it was okay. After getting a very happy and excited yes, the two of you introduced Lilly to the shop owner. The owner told Lilly what she wanted done to her shop and asked if Lilly could do it all.
Lilly gasped. "I can do it!"
The lady giggled. "Wonderful, thank you so much. I will happily pay you in ice cream or cookies."
Lilly grinned. "Thank you!"
You watched Levi and Lilly run inside the building. "Thank you so much. She was so excited about helping today."
The owner watched fondly as Lilly carried in small tools for Levi as Levi carried in a large number of things. "It makes it more meaningful knowing a whole family made my dream shop a reality. I can't wait to come back later and see it. You Ackerman's are so talented and incredible. This town is lucky to have you."
You welled up and hugged her. "Thank you."
As soon as you went inside you were overwhelmed with how cute Levi and your daughter were. The radio was on and the two of them were dancing and singing together as he started setting up the room for painting. Lilly was holding onto the tap as Levi was putting everything in place.
You had to take things easy because you'd recently found out you were pregnant. Levi and Lilly wanted you to relax more, so you were going to do as they said. You opened paint cans, poured paint into the right trays, and set up the tools.
Lilly walked over to the paint and picked up a roller. "May I?"
You smiled at her. "Ask Daddy."
"Daddy?"
Levi picked up Lilly making her squeal with laughter. "Let's do this!" He smiled when you held up the paint tray. "Thank you, Bunny. Now Lilly, roll the roller in the paint."
She kicked her little legs as she did. "Got it!"
He carried her to the wall. "Now roll up and down on the wall."
She squealed in delight. "I'm painting!"
Levi kissed her puffy cheek. "You are. You're a natural."
"Like Mummy?"
"Yes, like Mummy."
Lilly moved the roller up and down. "I did it!"
Levi moved her over to you. "Again, little Lilly pad."
You hummed a laugh as the two worked together to paint the wall. After some time, Levi had to put Lilly down because he needed to be careful and he has to speed up. While he was working, you were getting Lilly to help you put together some furniture. You would tell her what to hand you and she would give it to you.
When a few hours passed, Lilly stopped working and whined. You smiled at her. "What's going on little one?"
She rubbed her eyes and hiccuped a little. "Tired." She crawled over to you and flopped on your lap. "Mummyyy."
You wrapped your arms around her and held her. "I got you. I think it's time for a break."
Levi had made massive progress, so a rest was okay to have. He walked over and lay on the floor next to you. "Let's rest together."
You lay back with Lilly and cuddled up to Levi. "Naptime."
Levi watched Lilly and saw she fell asleep quickly. "Cute."
You played with her hair. "She's had a busy day."
"She has." He looked deep into your eyes. "How are you feeling?"
"I'm okay, a bit tired as well."
He leaned over and kissed you. "Rest as much as you need to, okay?"
You hummed. "I will. How are you feeling?"
"You know me, my bunny, I feel great because I have you and Lilly with me." He reached over and held your hand. "And our little cute bun growing."
You giggled. "You're right."
He moved your hand to his lips and showered it with kisses. "I love you."

@i-literally-cant-with-this and i have had this conversation before and maybe @arlerts-angel can chime in…only curious cause i’ve seen a pattern where people who have kids don’t normally enjoy reading that but people who don’t have kids do and i wanna know if this really is a pattern and there’s more to this or if it’s more random.
