Ash is sleepy.

He’s sleepy, and he’s comfortable, and there’s a blanket over him to keep him warm. Why is he awake? This is a good combination for sleeping. Is it… hmmm. Is it the light? Maybe. Why is the light there? Mornings are bad. Can’t the sun go back down for a while? He’s sleepy.

Fingers stroke gently through his hair, and he sighs, sinking into his pillow. That feels nice. He’s sleepy…

“You are so cute.” Eiji laughs softly, and that’s funny, because it makes Ash’s pillow rumble a little. But his pillow is also warm and good for snuggling, so he doesn’t question it. “When did you even get yourself over here? You didn’t hurt your shoulder, did you?”
