Today we’re using healthy distraction, behavioral activation, and self care to get through.

I am distracting myself through my relationships, talking to the people who care about me most and investing in their lives.

I’m behaviorally activating by going to work and doing my school work.

I’m doing self care through eating nutritious meals and going to the gym later.

These things will help me feel more balanced, safe, and secure throughout the day and get me closer to the goals I have in healthy living. It’s okay to have feelings and to work through them by doing what I need to do. ❤️

Remember the May Challenges I was doing in... well, May? And had to stop due to a lot of different reasons? 8D;;;  ANYWAY. Back now with day 7 of  kacierose’s drawing challenge, ‘Cold’. Poor Yellow isn’t very good with winter weather.

If you don't know who she is, this woman created the animated show Steven Universe, which became my initial inspiration for starting my own YouTube channel, as you can tell from my first ever video, “We are the Crystal Gems” mixed with MLP. (Thanks Annette!)

I made my first cartoon reactions to episodes of the 2nd Steven Bomb, and it led me to making a whole reaction channel of my other favorite cartoons. (Unfortunately I had to take those videos off of my channel because they kept getting YouTube strikes, and I didn’t want my channel to be deleted because of that. XD) She wrote the song “Stronger Than You”, which I parodied later in my Undertale songs, and I love watching Steven Universe videos on YouTube, with all the theories, news and fan content that's out there.

I’m not very active in the SU community (Undertale will probably always be my home fandom), but I’m still a huge fan of Steven and very much look forward to whenever their long hiatus comes to an end! XD Who’s with me?!
