DAILY COMMITMENT ~
As I was browsing online, I came across a blog posting (here) by Cristina of Skinnyhealthygirl. She made a commitment to do 36 squats everyday for a YEAR. I've heard of people doing squats for a month and they're results were amazing; I could only imagine what a year could do. An awesome lifted bum and some tight thighs *daydreaming* I can so see those nice buns sitting up oh so high lol. After a ton of inspiration, I would really like to make a commitment myself! I plan on doing 15 squats everyday for 6 months and then I will see if I will go for the next 6 months (most likely will)! That will bring me just over 2,700 for the first 6 months :)
I challenge anyone who would like to incorporate a daily activity/workout into their every day lives! You know you have 5-10 minutes to spare ;D

Workout
2 hour tennis match with my brother, tied sets (1-1)
Food Summary
Breakfast: 1 banana, bowl of oatmeal, cup of coffee

Lunch: chicken caesar salad with dressing on the side
Dinner: Salmon, brussel sprouts, small baked potato
Comments
I am sore! and tired... didn't sleep last night until 1:30am. I think it's making my metabolism slower so I am determined to go to bed at 11pm tonight. Water was a bit hard today but I got a good amount in. Still can't find my water bottle :/ will need to get a new one tomorrow!
Happy moment: continuing to keep playing tennis because i felt competitive and needed to finish! i love the feeling of mindful determination.
September 25
Workout
1 hour training session with Nick followed 40 minute walk/run
*I'm following the Couch to 5K running plan. I guess you could say I'm on Week 5. I started and ended with a brisk 5 minute walk, with (4) 5 minute run with 3 minute walks in between intervals. Just did an extra 5 minutes, no big :)
Food Summary
Breakfast: 1 banana, 1/2 bagel with cream cheese, iced vanilla latte
Lunch: 1 sandwich with turkey, cheese, tomatoes, and mustard, 1 cookie
Dinner: 8 pieces of sushi rolls, 1 single scoop of ice cream
Comments
I need another waterbottle, preferably a clear one, so I can track my water intake! it gets bad sometimes... and then to sleep better. It would help if I worked out earlier, I think. Still trying to get my schedule on track.
Happy moment: laughing with my trainer tonight - he got me into some ridiculous positions.

Glad I got to the gym today, hung out with a friend too and was able to talk about life... I'm thinking I should bring an extra water bottle to work, because today i was definitely dehydrated and I was feeling it! Sleep, obviously - I need to get on it!
Happy moment: today was an off day but singing in church always brightens my day! :)

Need to work on those side planks! Yoga was nice, but a little too out there for me. It's a good workout though for a lazy Sunday... Still definitely need to work on my sleep schedule (it's 12:30am!) but it's okay. small victories, everyday!
Happy moment: a friend asked me to give her some pointers with strength training! lead by example! :)

Dinner: Salad, 1 small potato, 3 slices of steak
Snack: 10 hot cheetos
Comments
My endurance is getting better.... it's too bad Saturday daytime TV sucks during my cardio sessions. Also, it's hard not to eat crazy during the weekends but keeping portions small always helps! I think it's important to let myself eat what I want - no restrictions! just will power and portion control.
Happy moment: Realizing working out is the only time I feel comfortable being alone. That's a big step for me. :)
