I just started watching season 2 of The Good Place on Netflix. I finished episodes 1 and 2 and it’s pretty different from season 1 but I like it and I’m excited. My thoughts:
I didn’t realize how much I kind of miss Eleanor’s more rude side.
As sort of annoying as it is I love when Eleanor’s soulmate takes off his shirt because he is hot.
Eleanor found Chidi a lot easier than I though she was going to. Michael kind of sucks at keeping them apart.
As much as I like Chidi and want him to be happy seeing him flustered and in pain is so funny.
Chidi’s rejection of Eleanor was harsher than I expected.
I find it totally freaking genius and hilarious to make Tahani’s soulmate shorter than her. I can relate to that so much.
Tahani can be more of a hot mess especially emotionally than Eleanor. That’s sort of a surprise to me.
I don’t think it’s going to take long for Jason to break down and give up on this silence thing.
These demons are kinda pretty stupid.
Oh Chidi and his overthinking and almond milk. He can be so pathetic sometimes but it’s adorable.
Tahani can be a real jerk sometimes but she’s subtle about it and I kind of love it.
Janet really is kind of Eleanor’s afterlife saver. She always helps her find Chidi.
Michael is honestly kind of too good at subtlety torturing them. That’s why Eleanor keep figuring it out.
I’ve got to hand it to them. 3 hours of spoken word jazz opera is very original.
I love how they just subtlety skip over the fact that they made Tahani and a golden retriever Eleanor’s soulmates at one point. I would love to see both of those reboots.
I really enjoy Janet’s dramatic deaths.
Demons are picky and Vicky is just annoying.
As much as I ship Cheleanor that I love you scene was just awkward.
Oh Jason. His small brain thinking can be refreshing sometimes.
I’m so ready for this team up with Michael and the humans.
