If you are feeling nervous about pursuing a degree in the arts, I have a story time for you:
I was at my dad's work, and he introduced me to one of his coworkers. In usually small talk fashion, this coworker asked me what I was studying. I told him I was studying dance. Usually I get one of two responses from people when I say this: people who look kind of concerned and immediately start asking what jobs I can get, or people who act like it's a cutesy "fake" degree. This coworker had a new one. My dad's coworker, a guy with a PhD in physics, told me that dance was a good field to be studying, because no dance job will get replaced with AI.
Your studies are important. They are crucial. Because the human spirit can never be removed from the arts. Take that leap, apply to that arts program. The arts are a good field to be studying.
