Harry’s dancing means everything to me. I can’t even comprehend it all yet. And hope to share some more insight on it. But that man has been taking modern dance classes. Maybe some ballet. His movement isn’t just a routine, there’s technique there.

Muggle AU: Hermione's mum has signed her up for dance lessons out of the belief that being well rounded would give her a leg up for college applications. Harry is the only guy in her class, and if it wasn't for him she would be vastly older than anyone else in the class. The two bond over the shared embarrassment of being in a class with people four or five years younger than them.

The Approaching Night
The grand piano stood to one side on the stage, black and shining under the dim lights, and seated before it was a lithe young man with a shock of white blond hair. His fingers danced effortlessly over the keys, his eyes closed, a haunting melody drifting through the air.
Harry recognised him straight away, of course.
Draco Malfoy was one of the best pianists in the world. A prodigy at both performing and composing, the Royal London Ballet were beyond lucky to have secured him for the season.
Harry hadn’t had a chance to meet him yet. But now, while they were both here in the evening, both there to be alone, he leaned against the doorframe and just watched and listened.
As the piece came to an end, Draco’s eyes opened and instinctively he looked up, locking eyes with Harry.

Just woke up at 6.30, depressed by the darkness outside my window, stumbled up to feed Newt and to realize my period had started, stumbled back into bed and clicked on the video of Harry's performance and felt a smile creeping on my face until I felt at peace with the world again. 💕 I love what they did with it, it was so playful and joyful and fun ! And because I haven't kept up with Harry in years, I was shocked by that little choreography at the end - has he been dabbling in proper dancing for years or is that new ?? Either way it was delightful ☺️

Harry started dabbling in dance over the last few years. He and Phoebe Waller-Bridge did an old-timey dance routine in a music video about 5 or 6 years ago. Then he danced a little tiny bit in the As It Was video in '22 and had a choreographed performance for the Grammys (...which was unfortunately derailed when the spinning platform he and his dancers were performing on span in the wrong direction 😪).
But over the last 2-3 years (while he's been away) he's been spotted at the ballet and seemed to get really interested in dance and choreography. He danced in the music video for Aperture, and now this!! He is so much better than he was before. It's quite annoying how good he is at everything, but I'm sure he's worked hard at it too.
Harry didn't just dance the choreography. He danced above it, somewhere between art and heaven, where he was untouchable.
