Robert isn’t wrong that he would have been blasted if he’d done what Jack and Andy had done. Jack assures Robert that he’s ready for any more dirt the Kings might throw at him. Gossip time over what Jack and Andy pulled. Jimmy puts Robert in his place reiterating he needs to be given advanced notice if anything is gonna happen… he’s not a mug. Tom shows up at the farm for a private word with Jack… he isn’t going to the coppers on him and that the offer is still there. Jack tells Andy there’s no way he’ll sell the land even for double the money. Jimmy makes a realization who to use against the Sugdens… Cain.

How can Katie have two husbands at once? (Part 2)

Robert and Katie announcement their engagement at home not realizing Andy is there but he takes it okay, congratulating them. Jack’s reaction at first is telling how things will be changing in Robert’s remaining months. Chas questions Katie looking to marry so soon again. Andy assures Robert he’s fine with things (‘for once in your life, I reckon you… you care about someone as much as yourself’ 😒 - really?). Cain bets Robert won’t make it to the altar. Cain hints to Andy that Robert is having his cake and eating it (‘his moonlight liaisons with Sadie King’) 😡 and that ‘Casanova is laughing in your face’. Gifs will be posted separately.

I just sat up all night praying that he won’t die.

Danny offers himself as help to Andy on the farm. It’s a new day and DI Keysell is once again keeping an eagle’s eye on Andy and Robert. Alan and Rodney check on Jack via Robert who is clearly exhausted at this point but Rodney manages to lighten the mood at least temporarily. Jack’s doctor easily persuades Keysell to leave the room post haste. Jack begins to stir.

And I love ya… and I love Katie, too. (Part 1.2)

Robert gets sick from all the alcohol he drank but he’s determined to give his best man speech. Jack’s all ‘you ought to be ashamed of yourself’ and ‘you’re a disgrace’. It’s time for the speech and Robert breaks the glass. In the end, Robert conveys to Katie through his speech that he loves her (if he’d told her earlier, would there have been a wedding?). It’s CLEAR Robert’s heart is breaking 💔.

Filth. More filth. Completely inappropriate joke about illegitimate kids. I wish I’d seen a clairvoyant before I wrote this, eh? (Part 4)

In the final part, Diane officially becomes a Sugden. It’s after the wedding where the big splash occurs as Val blabs it to everyone how Rodney is Paul’s dad. And what does clueless Rodney get? A punch from his new son! Ashley gets a call that Bernice has had another daughter and that means Jack and Diane heading out with Victoria right away to meet her new grandchild. After the best man speech from Robert, the entertainment arrives in the form of Paul in drag going by the name of Thelma Louise singing Falling in Love Again.

Just fulfilling my best man duties.

It’s time for Jack’s stag do and Robert spreads the word about it. Danny’s a bit focused about Chas being an ex-stripper and there’s a stag do so… Robert asks Andy to the stag do per Jack’s request. Jack is very much surprised by the party at the pub. Things go well between Jack and Andy until Jack brings up what happened between him and Daz and Andy storms off (not included in the clip but he sleeps with 14 year old Debbie). Chas does a brief strip tease and uses the money he raised toward the blind.

And the first woman to come into the pub is… Viv! Andy completes the dare easily enough. Robert continues with the snide remarks this time focusing on Katie leading Andy to throw a punch at him. The animosity continues outside where Robert states he won’t be Andy’s best man! Katie’s response about Andy and Robert’s scuffle shows little empathy and more shock that Robert would refuse to be his best man 🙄.

I reckon the thought of humiliating his big brother really gets him going big style. (Part 1)

Robert and Katie have words at the bus stop where Katie tells him she loves him (and why she had to finish it with him) which leaves him speechless. It’s a new day and another dare set in place for Andy but Robert is snippety toward him. Next, Robert learns just how much money Jack is putting into the wedding (yet, Jack doesn’t release his own funds for a business venture). Well, hello liquor. Time for Robert to get drunk 🤦‍♀️…
