Katie opens up to Donna and Chas about her situation with Andy and Robert. Daz worries Andy will do something daft with Katie as she isn’t worth it. Libby asking Andy where he was the previous night. Robert wants Sadie’s help with Katie otherwise he’ll out their affair. When Katie packs up her things from Jack’s, the two of them have it out with some truths and some off as Jack doesn’t have the entire picture.

You know, some time you’re gonna have to learn what it’s like to have responsibilties.

I’ve got responsibilities, dad. You just haven’t noticed.

Very much a pivotal episode to the psyche of Ryan!Robert when he returned nine years later. Robert finds a check for a grand to Andy since he’s having a tough time/a patch of bad luck according to Jack but Robert can’t see why he’s being thrown a bone for getting a 15 year old pregnant. It’s clear Jack doesn’t see Robert managing the garage as a responsibility. Andy reluctantly accepts the check from Jack. Robert makes a show to Jack and Andy (who are in the jeep) of giving Libby a ride. Jack and Robert have a major blow up first about Libby (staying away from her) then it’s all about GOLDEN BOY/FAVORITE son, Andy (who is not Robert’s brother), and how he should be SUPPORTING him. Support him? The one who killed Sarah and had the nerve to name his child the same? NOTE: Gifs for the final scene will be posted separately (didn’t have the heart to cut anything).

Grow up, Robert. It’s not a competition.

More of the same, Robert’s growing loathing of Andy continues. Robert asks Jack to help him out at the garage (washing the cars) since Scott is in hospital but Jack instead helps Andy who has a lot on his plate unlike Robert. Robert gets ticked off finding Andy in the pub (it’s his lunch hour) and gets it from Tamsin as well. Not a good day at all for Robert.

How can Katie have two husbands at once? (Part 2)

Robert and Katie announcement their engagement at home not realizing Andy is there but he takes it okay, congratulating them. Jack’s reaction at first is telling how things will be changing in Robert’s remaining months. Chas questions Katie looking to marry so soon again. Andy assures Robert he’s fine with things (‘for once in your life, I reckon you… you care about someone as much as yourself’ 😒 - really?). Cain bets Robert won’t make it to the altar. Cain hints to Andy that Robert is having his cake and eating it (‘his moonlight liaisons with Sadie King’) 😡 and that ‘Casanova is laughing in your face’. Gifs will be posted separately.

Rob, I still don’t know why Sadie fired me, do I?

Robert’s the supportive boyfriend with Katie applying for the King job. Tamsin shows up at the garage under the pretext of looking to buy a car and gets a test drive (shopping) from Robert. Donna, Dawn and Katie are interviewed by Matthew and Tom for the job and it’s Katie that gets it. Robert is not amused to be conned by Tamsin and it’s Libby that has her buy drinks (reluctantly) ‘by way of payment.’

Dad, don’t you want me to be happy!

The next set of episodes focus on Victoria and her demand desire for a horse as a birthday present. Victoria natters on about wanting a horse and Jack keeps telling her no but she ain’t listening. Katie doesn’t help when she pipes in having wanted a horse herself at that age. Well, Victoria ignores all (believing Jack’s bluffing 🤦‍♀️) telling her friend Kayleigh what she is gonna name the horse. Robert has a stuffed horse for Victoria but Katie recommends he give her the makeup he got her instead. Robert and Katie get stuck chatting with Libby and Tamsin.
