Propaganda under the cut [Disclaimer: the propaganda for lug x robin may seem like it contains ship hate but it's just criticizing making willowfine the "mom of the group" and not hating on lug x willowfine as a ship.]

Lug x Robin:

“tired: lug & willowfine are the parents of the wyrdwood group

wired: lug & robin as the tired group dads.

- the sunshine one and the grumpy one

- when morven is first introduced, lug is the only one who is able to explain it to robin in a way he understands. in the beginning the group often puts it on willowfine to explain things to robin and usually she flounders and lug has to fix it

- when robin comes back after morven’s first adventure with the group, everybody keeps telling robin how useful morven’s magic is compared to him. while everybody else is trying to figure out how to discreetly bring morven back out, lug sees the value in robin just as he is”

Garnet x Daphne:

“Daphne is SO into Garnet's magic skills, she's so in awe when Garnet explains that she is in fact a trick-taker (I think that's the term Daphne used) and that she used to tour (work at) the casinos with her daddy. Their dynamic is also just so fun in general, I could see them going to a like county fair and tricking their way into winning so many prizes and/or trying to impress each other. The fake-dating potential for Daphne's undercover cases as an investigative journalist are great, too! Let them see each other in fancy party outfits and swoon. Garnet probably gathers a lot of information as a croupier so she could absolutely feed Daphne inside information, too. They'd be so powerful together.”

While it's in my brain: Oxventure Deadlands Band AU

Band Name: Nate & The Monster Hunters (or "Nate & The Monsters" I haven't decided yet but it's in honor of Nate)

Edie:

- lead singer

- can play guitar but prefers singing

- red streaks in her hair

- does a lot of big emotional moments in their songs

- writes a lot of said songs

- very whimsical, feminine, and fun clothing/costume choices

- called "the big sister of the band"

- should be on anxiety and stress meds let's be real here

- very very autistic but masks for every performance and interview

- is often gifted red things, especially stuffed animals and flowers/stuff with flowers on them

- very confident about her body and appearance (she's fat & six feet tall) even though the media likes to be misogynistic pos's

- praises her bandmates a lot

Silas:

- bassist

- he and edie do a lot of like leaning on each other's backs as edie belts stuff out

- people think he's a bad boy but he's just autistic with a resting "tired of you" face and likes punk-like clothing

- the media (and ig the fans) also think he's nonverbal since he doesn't sing in any of the songs or answer any interview questions but he just hates the press/media so he doesn't talk to them

- is semiverbal to be specific though

- would probably bite an interviewer if they annoyed him enough

- called "the big brother of the band" despite being younger than edie and garnet (the resting "tired of you" face makes him look 10 years older)

- occasionally tempted to go rock star mode and smash his bass (which is orange and brown) but doesn't, both because it was expensive and because delacy might get caught up in the moment and follow his lead but worse

- helps with writing songs

- tends to be associated with coyotes and snakes and other horse predators

Garnet:

- guitarist

- never takes her sunglasses off

- has an overall way spookier/goth-er vibe than the others

- the sapphic fans are obsessed with her (they also like edie but garnet is very aggressively a(n aroace) lesbian)

- often stuck with Silas for interviews because he won't talk to the interviewer

- because of that, she's the one that revealed he's not nonverbal but just hates the press and stuff

- is commonly gifted decks of playing and tarot cards as gifts since she has a card motif and can often be seen shuffling a specific deck (her father's)

- her fan-made nickname changes a lot but it's usually something like "the rebel sister"

- occasionally sings with edie but prefers not to because she doesn't like being center stage

- also helps with writing songs occasionally but tends to like to leave edie to it

- has flirted with a certain interviewer/journalist

Delacy:

- the drummer

- he goes absolutely ham on the drums, it's quite good for his anger

- some people are weirded out by the fact a teen is part of this band but his band members just point out it's a family band

- not allowed to do interviews because he's a child

- called "the baby of the band" and hates it

- gets gifted stuffed animals and candy because he's a child

- got gifted a big like gift basket of chocolate once and no one slept that night

- his drums are black and blue

- has either a photo of Nate taped onto his drumset or has a pedestal next to his drumset where they put Nate's urn/an urn representing Nate during performances or both

- carries the urn around sometimes

Billie:

- sorta the same as he is in canon just modern au

- commiserates with Edie about the unfair and rude takes the media has about them

- probably smokes weed with her when she's stressed

- clearly admires her so much

- there's rumors he and edie are dating and he occasionally likes to add fuel to those rumors for fun

- has also been dragged around by delacy and has been taught the basics of drumming by him

- he's one of the few people delacy is okay with being picked up and carried by

Daphne:

- the interviewer/journalist garnet has flirted with

- has been known to flirt back

- used to have comphet but is now her true disaster lesbian self hence the flirting with garnet

- absolutely loves the band and thinks they're a hoot

- loves to interview them and learn all the meanings behind the lyrics and costumes and everything

- writes her interview notes with a fluffy & cutesy pink pen

- needs to be on adhd meds or is and washes them down with like orange juice (which I understand you shouldn't do) or something like it like pink lemonade
