On 9th March 2026 C.S Pacat posted this image on her substack along with the explanation on why these are not the final covers of her books.

The 3rd book in the Dark Rise trilogy doesn't have an official title yet but doesn't this image clear all our doubts once and for all?

I think "Dark King" is the nearly official title.
