Training wheels chapter 6

Vegas was already standing up too when Pete shot the man on the foot.

“Slower.” Vegas smiled, slowly pushing his heel down on the man’s right foot to add agony to the bullet wound. “You won’t enjoy it if you rush it.”

"Whatever you want to do, I'll do it with you. But we can't be impulsive."

"Will you marry me then?"

I was waiting someone to write on this litle piece that i have noticed but i did not find it, so hear me out. (first time writting some meta, please forgive)

We know Pete as “smiley” and “bubbly” person. 

However, he likes to be near danger or violence. How I get to this point, First of all, of course, this scene with Pete where they  are beating up the man. 

He is definetly familiar with violence and as someone wrote before, Pete was disappointed when Kinn stopped him. And there is another even earlier scene that i have noticed. Pete wants violence and be in danger and get that adrenaline. He does not want boring life or be at piece. First pic is where he was happy to be swapped with Porshe and the second one when he rambles that it is better to work for Kinn.

So, basically he was asking for some action that he does not get from being Pi Tankhun’s bodyguard. He is happy to be real mafia bodyguard, surrounded with dangerous situations. 

And then we get these infamous scenes where he is so attentive and captivated by violence/danger in front of him. Pete understands this torture as how it should be in a mafia world and he is all into it. That how it works and how it should be. 

Returnig to the idea that Pete likes danger and wants to be in danger. That is where Vegas character comes to the picture. At this point Vegas is manifestation of Violence/danger. So, there is no doubt that our boy would be captivated by him.

My idea is that they destined to each other and perfectly matched, even from the Pete’s point. Not only because Pete would balance Vegas at some point but Pete would definitely accept all violence that Vegas has to offer.
