i love barbara 2.5 so much that fic means the world to me. i'm a simple lesbian i see a lady with a sword i hit kudos. but on a serious note the way you captured his confusion with what really DID pass as ok and barbara's personality was just. beautiful. and the art is amazing too!!

there was honestly no real reason to give Barbara a sword other than me wanting her to have one. my notes literally said ‘Barbara gets a sword because i say so’ because i just...like women with swords u_u

i’m so glad that bit came off OK! i was worried it would seem too much like i was shoehorning an excuse for his behaviour into the story, so i’m relieved that so many people liked those scenes! since he doesn’t come off as being overtly malicious for most of the musical i wanted to try and make his actions understandable, but not necessarily excusable
