Seeing Double
The Major’s grin broadened a bit as they looked at their third making his way through the people on the street from the balcony of his second floor apartment. “Oh trust me, this guy’s not gonna out us. I have enough dirt on him in return if he does. Besides, something like this will be a dream come true for him, and I told him so too. Who could resist having two, hot blonds at the same time right? Sure, he’s gonna be a LITTLE surprised to see twin faces but hey, he can handle me alone, I’m sure he can handle us both. If not, well, we’ll break him… either way, still fun as shit night if you ask me.”
Grabbing Ed by his arm, he brought him inside when their raven haired companion for the evening disappeared inside the building. “Plus, once you get a look at him close up, I don’t think you’re gonna object to him either. Let’s just say there’s no one quite as able to light fires in people than him…”

Downstairs a certain General made his way up the familiar stairwell. He’d made this trip quite a few times over the last few years. The Major had promised him something special this time though and he could only wonder what it was. He’d been so insistent too when he’d come to him to set this up.
"I have a friend I’d like to introduce you to, I think you’ll get along as well we do if you catch my drift…" he’d said. Of course he caught his drift. The only time he and the Major REALLY got along was when they were taking their frustrations out between the sheets. So he had a friend he wanted to ad to this equation… this had General Mustang VERY curious indeed. Who would Fullmetal trust enough to invite into their little party? He would soon find out.
Reaching the Major’s door, Roy knocked three times in even succession, the queue they’d agreed upon for their meetings… and then he waited.

"About damn time," the Major grinned going to the door to let the last member of their little group in…

Ed hadn’t been watching when the Major first opened the door. He had been looking back out the window. He only turned his head away for a minute, maybe two. When their guest stepped inside the room, Ed turned to look and stiffened. His heart began to pound in his chest, and he suddenly felt overheated to the point where he could feel beads of sweat forming all over. The room suddenly felt a lot smaller.
'no one quite as able to light fires in people'
That should have been enough to tip him off. But this was the last thing Ed had expected. Roy. The person Ed had unintentionally managed to avoid while here. Seeing him, standing there, made him realize that if the Major had come right out and suggested Mustang, he would have backed out.
He looked so much like Roy all the way down to the impeccable neatness of his military uniform. Nothing looked out of place. Ed supposed it made perfect sense that he would. He and the Major looked the same except a few small, insignificant scars on their bodies. A part of him had always known that if he had a counterpart in this world then Roy had one too. The Major kept him indoors most of the time, though so they never had the chance to meet. But if it made that much sense why did he feel so... shocked?
The most notable difference was look in this Roy's eyes. Ed unconsciously moved closer to the Major. The Roy he had known always had that look in his eyes like he was one-hair away from being a broken man. This one had none of that. At least he didn't seem to.
He moved his hands down to his sides and just stood there. What the hell was this? Ed turned his head towards the Major and then back to him. He almost asked that question out loud but thought better of it. He was starting to learn that the Major remembered every thing he said and any reaction he had to 'new things' they tried. But Ed wasn't sure how he felt about this or how to act. He couldn't even open his mouth and say hello.
