My characters are all from a place called Darsha.
Darsha is similar to the world we know, except that there are areas of the wild where creatures we know as fantasy roam, and some biomes can even light up with bioluminescant plants, fungi and algae, and trees and mushrooms can grow to incredible sizes in some areas.
The technology in the built up areas is pretty advanced with cyborgs being things that are not common place but do exist, and yet outside the cities lost in the wild lands are remains of the old kingdom, including a castle way up north looking over the ocean.
Its not uncommon to see Elves walking around with humans, and if one were to look closely one may even spot runaway fae hidden among the crowds posing as elves, and demons in the shadows or themselves posing as common folk. The angels are harder to spot, unless one has the gift of true sight to spot their halos.
Dragons have humanoid forms, but remain in the wild lands and are viewed by city folk as being dangerous monsters... although the fact remains they're typically dangerous due to their territorial nature given they've a history of being hunted and wish to protect themselves.
My characters can be played in Darsha, or in other characters worlds :) but I'll probably bring up they came from Darsha somewhere.
